Did you know that Northwest Skydiving League teams and competitors still wait for the beginning of summer? posted: Jul 3rd, 2012 The NSL News reported on 16 May 2012 that Deb Correia was calling the Northwest Skydiving League community back to action. The story on 5 June 2012 explained how iFLY Seattle hosted an indoor event that included the potential 4way teams and competitors of the NWSL 2012 season.
The first outdoor competition was scheduled for last weekend, and the NSL News reported earlier that the event was completely weathered out. Did you know that CTR Optimum keeps up the scoring progression in and for Brazil? posted: Jul 2nd, 2012 A total of 25 teams actually competed last weekend, however, all scores can not be found on the same leaderboard, as there were three different competition draws for three different meets.
However, at least for now, all scores can still be found on the same page at the scores overview.
Six teams competed in Brazil and used the original weekly NSL competition draw for two of the four categories. Three Brazilian teams competed in the AAA Class and three more in the AA Class.
The field included both national 4way teams, CTR Optimum in the Open Class and Fenix in the female 4way category.

Did you know that the Brit Chicks have extended their 8way project? posted: Jul 2nd, 2012 The scores of the Z-Scrambles have moved from the front page to the home page of the Florida Skydiving League, and new scores from the United Kingdom have taken the front page place.
There were actually three different competition draws last weekend. The Z-Scrambles story mentioned that the one for this annual event is modified for the participants. It is somehow a mixture between Rookie Class and A Class. The scores from the United Kingdom are coming from an 8way event, and the draw for both categories uses the numbers and letters of the 8way dive pool.

Did you know that the Z-Scrambles teams raised the meet average significantly? posted: Jul 1st, 2012 The annual Z-Scrambles brought 12 teams together on a very hot Saturday at Skydive City. Laura Song and Oren Kalb had once again prepared the event for 4way fans and recreational skydivers who mix up with more experienced team captains and player coaches for a casual day of 4way fun.
Dive pool, competition draw and working time are specific and only taylored to this event. The 3- or 4-point sequences for the four rounds include only the easier random formations and most popular blocks. Block 6 (Stardian - Stardian) and Block 21 (Zig Zag - Marquis) were drawn for this year's event.

Did you know that the annual 2way competiton in Germany featured family lineups and another ISB Air Remscheid charge? posted: Jun 29th, 2012 Germany's national coach for Formation Skydiving, Mathias "Mausi" Maushake, organised once again the annual nationwide 2way competition, which is open for all German skydivers. It took place last weekend at each skydiving center that wanted to participate.
He is also the General Manager at Aero Fallschirmsport, the skydiving center in Kassel-Calden that recently hosted the Northern German Championship 2012, and he posted information and results at the DZ's website.

Did you know that Arizona Airspeed, SDC Rhythm XP and Thunder are the busiest teams so far? posted: Jun 28th, 2012 The highest number of attended 4way meets by any team is four so far this year. Three teams competed at four different events, and they are all world class teams, with Arizona Airspeed on the very top. This is actually not a big surprise since the best teams know how important competition experience is.
SDC Rhythm XP and Thunder are the other two teams with four meets at this point in time. All three teams also attended two of their four meets together, and the outcome has always been the same: Airspeed on the top of this 3-some, followed by Rhythm and Thunder.
