News Article Did you know that the AtomiX lineup is a perfect fit?
posted: Jun 4th, 2013 The second meet in Germany last weekend, the Northern German Championship 2013 in Kassel, was completely weathered out. It was expected to become the first AAA Class showdown between the new Gamma Ray lineup and the Usual Suspects. It did not happen in Kassel, while six other German AAA Class teams completed their one single round at the Nord Cup. At least one of the six teams in Hohenlockstedt, home of the YUU Skydiving Center, would have liked to see how the two veteran 4way teams would enter the 2013 season. AtomiX is a new team project in Germany that was launched at the end of the 2012... (more)

The event took place on the day when schools in Finland close for the summer vacation, and it includes all the school celebrations. It... (more)
News Article Did you know that Germany was under water this weekend?
posted: Jun 2nd, 2013 Germany had two 4way meets scheduled for the weekend. The first part of the Nord Cup and the Northern German Championships were supposed to take place at two different locations. Unfortunately, the European weather continues to make it very difficult for skydivers to get in the air, and the teams at the Nord Cup were able to complete only one round in the AAA Class. Germany was literally under water, almost all across the country. It was worse in the southern parts, and the Nord Cup took place in Hohenlockstedt, close to Hamburg. Saturday was completely weathered out, and the meet management... (more)

posted: Jun 1st, 2013 May is over, and all scores of the Indoor Cloud League are posted, together with the best videos of all sequences for the six categories. The AAA Class teams had to master Block 18 (Zircon - Zircon) for the first time in the 12-foot flying chambers of iFLY Seattle, iFLY Orlando and SkyVenture New Hampshire, and the 6-point sequence also brought Block 6 to the AAA Class lineups. The teams used different techniques to execute Block 18. The Northwest Skydiving League competitors applied a horizontal maneuver, while Ari Perelman and his assistant coaches went vertical at iFLY Orlando, as well... (more)

News Article Did you know that Czech teams provided video evidence of the poor weather conditions last weekend?
posted: May 30th, 2013 Yesterday's NSL News update pointed out how unfortunate teams were with the weather situation last weekend, especially at Skydive Twin Cities in the Northern Plains and in Pribram in the Czech Republic. There is evidence now how challenging the weather situation was in the Czech Republic. League manager Jan Klapka provided the NSL News with two videos, which were attempts to get a few more jumps done. Best of Relative and Zoonte both tried for Round 3 without much success. Judges Vaclav Cervinka, Josef Pich and Michaela Hasilova were not able to see enough for a reasonable evaluation, and... (more)
