The 4way teams in the Quebec/Montreal area just completed their first competition of the 2013 season last weekend at Parachute Montreal, and the next meet is already on its way this weekend at NouvelAir, the home of Evolution. The NSL Sun Path News tries to keep up with the Canadian action and finishes up last weekend's competition before the first scores of the new meet weekend will be posted on the next leaderboard.

Did you know that last weekend's competition included VFS 4way? posted: Jun 21st, 2013 Last weekend's competition at Parachute Montreal also included VFS 4way. Two Canadian teams (Drop Outs, Para Montreal) competed against each other and had their own leaderboard.
It is not a big surprise that VFS 4way has its special place in Canada. The three Lemay brothers (Martin, Vincent, Benoit) of the national 4way team Evolution are passionate VFS fans and world class performers. They finished 4th at the Mondial Dubai 2012 with Philippe Thibodeau in the lineup.

Did you know that Florida added eight points to the Indoor Cloud League scores for June? posted: Jun 20th, 2013 The NSL Sun Path News reported on 5 June 2013 that the Florida Skydiving League posted their first Indoor Cloud League scores for the month of June at iFLY Orlando. The total of 113 points for the six indoor categories matched the Florida scores for the month of May, however, it was not enough to win last month's competition. The Northwest Skydiving League outscored Florida by eight points at iFLY Seattle.

Did you know that Fuzion posted the highest Canadian meet average in female 4way history last weekend? posted: Jun 19th, 2013 The missing scores of last weekend's events have arrived from Canada where Parachute Montreal hosted the first of five meets that will be covered by the NSL Sun Path News this year.
The members of the Canadian world class 4way team Evolution have become very pro-active in generating teams and 4way fun on their home turf, and the participation at the outdoor season opener shows the first results of the Evolution activities.

Did you know that a Cool video features the Tomscat Trophy 2013 action? posted: Jun 18th, 2013 The NSL News goes back one more time to the Tomscat Trophy for a very good reason. A new video of the event is showing all teams in meet action and other activities during the event.
Cool Runnings and Murphy Mania joined artistic forces to create the video as a memory of the event. Cool Runnings Center Inside Joost van Heijenoort said that the teams all agreed to provide the competition footage for an event movie that would be shown at the Saturday night party.

Did you know that Florida teams keep battling with the weather situation? posted: Jun 17th, 2013 Last weekend's overall leaderboard is so dominated by the Dutch teams at the Tomscat Trophy that the few teams of the Florida Skydiving League are almost unnoticed. Additional scores from Canada are also still to come.
The teams in Florida have not completed a 6-round competition this year so far. The summer weather and the timing of the meet weekends did not fit well between April and June. Only the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2013 in March was completed after ten rounds without any weather problems in DeLand.
DeLand Bees and the Teiwaz AA Class lineup tried to beat the weather somehow... (more)
