Did you know that the best 4-way Junior teams were recently in full action? posted: Apr 18th, 2017 It is time to catch up with a few indoor meets that happened while the major events took all the attention. One of them was the Canadian indoor qualifier for the FAI Indoor World Meet 2017, which will take place on Canadian home turf at SkyVenture Montreal in October.
The 8-round competition featured three Canadian national 4-way teams. Evolution competed for Canada at the FAI Mondial 2016 in 4-way Open, Parachute Montreal Fuzion in 4-way Women, while the Air Devils are the reigning 4-way Junior FAI Indoor World Cup champions of 2016.
Evolution did not have the complete lineup available,... (more)
Did you know that the Grauwels and Bernier brothers have been battling since 2008? posted: Apr 17th, 2017 The 2017 triple showdown between NMP PCH HayaBusa and Weembi Lille peaked with the 1-point thriller at the World Challenge 2017 that the Sun Path Products NSL News featured with the update on 9 April 2017.
The story pointed out that the historic duel produced the highest total number of points that two teams have ever posted, even though HayaBusa and the French national team of 2012 together finished only two points short of the 661 total in Bedford when they competed at the Aerokart Indoor Championship 2012.
It was not really that close in 2012, as Weembi's outside center Julien Degen explained... (more)

There were more than enough content and good reasons for this ongoing topic. Both lineups were selected for the national teams at about the same time, after the FAI World Meet 2014, where France ended up without medals in 4-way Open and with gold medals in 4-way Women.
The French Girls had another personnel change at the end of the 2015 season, when Pamela Lissajoux replaced Anais Alspach,... (more)

The competition in Bedford was over on Saturday, and Sunday was travel day for most of the teams, including the Czech delegation, which consisted of five teams this time. The French Weembi Girls were one of the six French teams who competed at both events and traveled north and across the English Channel two weeks after their national indoor championships in Lille.
It was once again a successful trip to Bedford for the French Girls after the 2nd place in the AAA/Open Class last year. The French national team in 4-way Women had signed up in the Open Class at the World Challenge 2016 to face tougher competition... (more)

OK, and first of all, I do feel somehow ignorant sometimes when I bring attention once again to our sport's top teams. They get all the attention and all the support and sponsor-ships, so why do I have to give them additional attention? Well, because the top competition is the most exciting part of the sport - in all sports - and... (more)
