Did you know that Parachute Montreal Fuzion has new team plans until 2020? posted: Jan 24th, 2018 The NSL News mentioned briefly on 21 October 2017 that Canada's national team in 4-way Women, Parachute Montreal Fuzion, had a personnel change last year.
The FAI Indoor World Meet 2017 was in full swing on Fuzion's home turf SkyVenture Montreal at that time, and the home team was barely in medal contention for the 3rd place after Round 6. Fuzion eventually ended up in 5th place.
What had happened after the bronze medals for Canada at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2017 in Saarlouis, which could have been silver without the weather troubles?

Did you know that the Florida Rookie Class teams had their own January competition? posted: Jan 23rd, 2018 The Florida Skydiving League teams and competitors posted the first Indoor Cloud League scores of the new year at iFLY Tampa, as the NSL News reported on 18 January 2018, followed by Harpia's AA Class score for the 12+ sequence from Brazil.
A different group of FSL competitors then came together last week to start the ICL 2018 season on the 12+ leaderboard at iFLY Orlando.

Did you know that this year's indoor nationals at Weembi Lille qualify French teams for the FAI World Indoor Cup 2018? posted: Jan 22nd, 2018 The NSL News update on 17 January 2018 included the exciting news that the World Challenge 2018 will also include an 8-way competition for the first time.
The first 8-way meet of the year in Europe will take place once again at Weembi Lille, host of the French Indoor Nationals 2018.
The Paraclete XP Indoor Championship was the first wind tunnel competition that included 8-way, and this year's event is scheduled for the end of February. Did you know that Niklas Hemlin had good tie-breaking advice for his Angels in New Hampshire? posted: Jan 22nd, 2018 There were more interesting team relationships at the SV New Hampshire Indoor 2018, not only the one between R2G and Spaceland Lite.
One of the other ones created not only a tie in the final standings but also an extra round for the bronze medals.
Schweddy Balls and aiRWorthy finished together in 10th place of the A Class competition and did not have to fly again. The situation was different in the AAA Class, where Defiance and Nik's Angels shared the bronze medal position after Round 10.

Did you know that Ranch 2nd Generation (R2G) runs away from Spaceland Lite? posted: Jan 21st, 2018 It was at the USPA Nationals 2015 when Ranch 2nd Generation and Spaceland Lite competed for the first time at the same event.
The Texas team was already well settled on the 4-way Open Class leaderboards of the national championships after winning USPA Advanced Class gold medals in 2011.

Did you know that the beginning of the indoor world was the end of the power naps? posted: Jan 19th, 2018 The end of the year was approaching rapidly, which is nothing new. Obviously it happens every year at this time and it is still different from before. It seems to happen a little bit quicker and earlier with each year that is passing by.
Something else is probably supporting the feeling of an accelerating pace of time and space and no, it is not my age alone...
