News Article Did you know that Sean Paquette may have inherited his camera equipment from father Daniel?
posted: Feb 18th, 2018 The recent Turning Points column in Blue Skies Mag's February issue gave 4-way families and their position in the sport more thoughts. Topic was more the athletic part of 4-way and 8-way Formation Skydiving competition with the main question why family teams seem to be more successful than “ordinary” teams. However, there are also other family relationships in the skydiving world that are not based on teams and competition performances. One of them can be found once again in Canada, where the NSL News has covered family relationships in many different ways on a regular basis in the past. The... (more)
News Article Did you know that 4-way families live the ultimate dream?
posted: Feb 16th, 2018 I hope everybody remembers the fact-checking part of the 4-way family story in Blue Skies Mag August 2017 edition. it was an amazing experience for me to collect the data that provided the foundation for this very special topic. There was some feedback after the publication and it was no surprise, I guess, that my own attention to the family relationships in Formation Skydiving competition teams was on a higher level, too. I will begin with more cases, especially the ones that are coming from a new territory. I have mostly looked for examples in the adult world, which is logical, of course,... (more)

posted: Feb 15th, 2018 The NSL News story on 27 January 2018 had featured the AAA Class battle between former Aerokart Ak'demie 4-way junior Kylian Forsans and his current team, the Monaco Indoor Skydive team, and the reigning 4-way junior world champions in the Aerokart Ak'demie 2 lineup. The Aerokart Ak'demie juniors won easily with a 14-point advantage at the Coupe de France Indoor 2018 in mid-January. Two weeks later, both teams had a re-match at the Wind Games 2018, where the junior team had to work much harder to fend off the Monaco team. posted: Feb 13th, 2018 The NSL News visited a winter training camp of the Qatar Falcons 8-way team at Skydive City, as the story on 8 December 2017 reported. It included a live NSL Talk with coach Gary Smith. The team is back in Florida for the next training camp, and it was a new opportunity to get an update from Gary Smith, who is also coaching the reigning Belgian indoor and outdoor 4-way world champions, NMP PCH HayaBusa. Gary Smith was not in Spain for the Wind Games 2018, as he was busy with the Qatar Falcons in Z-Hills. He followed the Wind Games action live online and with the aftermath of the NSL News. NMP... News Article Did you know that the French Weembi Girls were the cleanest team at the Wind Games?
posted: Feb 12th, 2018 There has been a natural and friendly competition between the two French national 4-way teams, French Weembi Girls and Realfly Sion, that the NSL News has covered several times in the past. The French national teams in 4-way Women have measured their own performance level for a long time with teams on the 4-way Open Class leaderboards, as they used to win their gold medals in this separate FAI/IPC category without much opposition. This changed when the Golden Knights made a big effort to catch up to the top level in 4-way Women and eventually won the FAI/IPC gold medals at the FAI Mondial... (more)
