Did you know that NSL-TV features last weekend's AA Class drama at the Tomscat Trophy? posted: Jun 28th, 2018 The NSL News goes back to the AA Class competition at the Tomscat Trophy after the first update of this category's exciting battle on the combined leaderboard on June 25th.
This new update features the meet videos of the Dutch and the Belgian teams that took the first two places in Hoogeveen, Netherlands, and finished 1st (AYRO) and 3rd (Team Red) on the combined international leaderboard.
Team Red had won the Tomscat Trophy after the tie-breaking procedure when both teams ended up in 1st place and the meet was called after Round 8 on Saturday evening. Team Red won with the highest score... (more)
Did you know that Out of the Blue competes for the Netherlands in Australia? posted: Jun 27th, 2018 The rankings on last weekend's AAA Class leaderboard did not change after the adjustments, which bring all five teams to the same conclusion after Round 6.
Seattle Swift's additional four rounds to complete all ten rounds were much stronger, and the Northwest Skydiving League team posted a 14.3 average for this part of the 10-round meet. Judge Bill Selig also had much less work with these four rounds compared to the first six rounds.

Did you know that the Florida Skydiving League has posted scores on the Indoor Cloud League 12+ and 14+ leaderboards? posted: Jun 26th, 2018 The 12+ flying chamber at the new iFLY Orlando facilities was drawing a larger group of Florida Skydiving League competitors to the Indoor Cloud League competition at June's FSL Tunnel Kicker than the same event at iFLY Tampa a week later.
It was nothing unusual that the events at iFLY Orlando were well attended when the Orlando tunnel was the only one in Florida. This changed when iFLY Tampa launched their operation of the 14+ flying chamber, and there was even a longer break until iFLY Orlando came back on the 12+ leaderboard of the Indoor Cloud League.

Did you know that the AA Class leaderboard has three teams from three countries in the top spots? posted: Jun 25th, 2018 Last weekend's AA Class leaderboard was the most interesting one of a busy weekend with teams at three different event sites and a total of 24 teams who used the same competition draw.
The annual Tomscat Trophy in Hoogeveen, Netherlands, was the main event, where teams competed in all four categories. It was the 24th time that Dutch teams and any guests commemorated the two members of the Dutch 4-way team Tomscat, Remie Herder and Sjaak Strating, who lost their lives in in a plane crash in Perris Valley on April 24th, 1992. Did you know that Ranch 2nd Generation is on track for the 20+ average? posted: Jun 24th, 2018 Ranch 2nd Generation (R2G) has been the 4-way shooting star in the United States since the team was formed in 2015 and became very competitive with a new lineup for the 2016 season.
The NSL News has followed the progression of the young team since the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2016 where the story began with a live interview after the 1st place in the AA/Intermediate Class.
R2G continued with training of the complete FAI/IPC dive pool and completed the 2016 season with AAA/Advanced Class silver medals at the USPA Nationals, 19 points behind SDMW NEXT (169 - 150).

Did you know that Arizona Airspeed is still experimenting with engineering options? posted: Jun 22nd, 2018 Last week was a busy one for Arizona Airspeed's team captain Niklas Hemlin. The U.S. national team in 4-way Open changed plans when SDC Rhythm XP had to cancel due to Doug Barron's injury.
Airspeed was planning to face serious competition pressure from their main U.S. opponent to get realistic meet practice for the FAI World Meet 2018 in October and had the main focus on the actual competition with Rhythm.
They decided to turn the trip to the east coast more into a training camp when it became clear that Rhythm would not be able to offer a serious challenge and canceled their participation... (more)
