Did you know that Teams from Brazil and Paraguay are preparing for their trips to Australia? posted: Jul 20th, 2018 4-way teams from Brazil have represented their country seven times at FAI World Championships of Formation Skydiving, out of the 17 events since 1985. Brazil missed the last two world meets in 2014 and 2016 and will now be back for the next one in October in Australia.
It will be the same team that has dominated 4-way competition in Brazil since 2005, even though the current lineup includes only one original member, outside center André Ferraz. Did you know that the Dutch Nationals may feature a 20+ Project showdown at the end of August? posted: Jul 18th, 2018 The coverage of the Tomscat Trophy 2018 included some updates of the Dutch Formation Skydiving Project 20+ that was introduced by the NSL News with the story on 5 January 2017.
The 4-way project is in its second year, and three teams have been active throughout the 2018 season in the Netherlands: Team Orange, Team Blue and Team Red.
The update on 27 June 2018 introduced the new lineup of Team Blue, which is also knows as Out of the Blue, and mentioned that this lineup will also compete for the Netherlands at the FAI World Meet later this year in Australia.

Did you know that Dallas InterSpeediate has morphed into Get Schwifty? posted: Jul 18th, 2018 The Spaceland-Houston Pre-Nationals 2018 also included an 8-way competition that the French 8-way Team, organized by Louis French and player-coached by Kirk Verner, won last year. The French 8-way team moved on to win the USPA gold medals in the 8-way Advanced Class a few months later in Perris.
Last weekend, Spaceland Lite's 8-way lineup won the same event at Spaceland-Houston, and the team might be on the same road to USPA gold medals as the French 8-way team was. Did you know that Spaceland Toxic is more than an underdog this year? posted: Jul 17th, 2018 Last weekend's Spaceland-Houston Pre-Nationals 2018 brought a total of eight 4-way teams and three 8-way teams together in Texas for this year's test before the USPA Nationals.
The same event was held with the same purpose in August 2017 when five 4-way and two 8-way teams launched the new event.
Dallas 350ish won the AAA Class competition with three members of the Dallas 350 lineup who will compete at the national championships in September. Scott Levy and Lucas King, original team members of the 2013 lineup, competed with Scott Latinis who was also in the original lineup of 2013.

Did you know that the British A Class teams kept up well with the AA Class teams in Round 1? posted: Jul 15th, 2018 The conclusion of last weekend's British leaderboard after the July meet of the United Kingdom Skydiving League (UKSL) comes with more details of the A Class and Rookie Class competition.
The A Class competition began with an interesting round. The sequence of Round 1 (J,M,7) was the same as for the AA Class teams at Skydive Northwest in Cark. All teams in these two categories had the opportunity to compare their scores directly.

Did you know that NSL-TV features the A Class and Rookie Class winners of the Tomscat Trophy 2018? posted: Jul 13th, 2018 The NSL News coverage of the Tomscat Trophy 2018 was not complete, as the meet videos of the winners in the A Class and the Rookie Class have not been published yet.
Both teams were newly formed this year, even though some of the team members have been around for a while in the 4-way world. Free Format's videographer Ronny Dumai has been filming Dutch teams for over a decade, and Peter Tak was an early Whooops member for several years. Whooops eventually competed for the Netherlands at the FAI World Meet 2012 in Dubai.
