News Article Did you know that the Top 10 positions are a serious goal for AA/Intermediate Class teams?
posted: Aug 1st, 2022 The NSL News introduced a few USPA medal contenders from Texas on July 28th. Spaceland Toxic and both A/Beginners Class teams (Toxic Ex Girlfriends, Toxic Turtles) seem to be on the way to play a role in the battle for medals at the national championships in September. The other two AA/Intermediate Class teams who competed at the live part of the Pre-Nationals 2022 in Texas, 49 1/2 Finger Death Punch and Plug N Play, could not keep up with the well trained Spaceland Toxic lineup. However, they had their own competition with each other, and with two more teams who were planning to post their... (more)
News Article Did you know that the new XPG4 videos feature reigning 8-way world champions and a AA Class competitor of 2021?
posted: Jul 29th, 2022 The eleven rounds of Skydive Midwest NEXT were a part of the first half of the Pre-Nationals 2022, and the second half begins with the videos that XPG4 submitted to the NSL Cloud. The scores are not available yet, as InTime has scheduled the judging for the time after the completion of the whole event. However, the videos have been uploaded, and the home judges can already begin with their own evaluation. News Article Did you know that the A/Beginners Class at the USPA Nationals promises once again exciting competition?
posted: Jul 28th, 2022 The first part of the Pre-Nationals 2022 included an A Class duel between two teams from Texas. It was a tight competition in four of the six rounds, where the new team, Toxic Turtles, were only one point (20 - 19) behind the winner, Toxic Ex Girlfriends. Toxic Turtles actually picked up their 4-way competition pace on a higher level compared to the 2.2 average that the all-female Toxic Ex Girlfriends lineup posted in the Rookie Class competition of the Texas Skydiving League's April meet. Both teams have another opportunity to test their progression, as TSL director Scott Latinis invites... (more)

posted: Jul 27th, 2022 A new country will join the 4-way competition community this year at the FAI Outdoor World Meet at Skydive Arizona in October. No team from Guatemala has ever competed at a world meet or a world cup, and La Playa will be the first one for the Central American country. La Playa are not new to the NSL News audience though. Julio Giron, Ramiro Lopez, Juan Merck and Enrique Otzoy, with Fernando Fernandez on camera, competed first time at the May meet of the Arizona Skydiving League 2021. They started in the AA Class and followed up half a year later in the AA/Intermediate Class competition of the... (more)

They were still judging additional videos on the same last weekend, which were uploaded from other locations, including Spaceland dropzones in Texas and Skydive Midwest. NEXT completed all eleven rounds on their home turf on the first weekend of the extended time period for the Pre-Nationals 2022. The "emergency format" that the National Skydiving League created in 2020 to offer an alternative option for the... (more)
News Article Did you know that Indoor Cloud League participation keeps growing in Colorado Springs?
posted: Jul 26th, 2022 Eric Daniel, Indoor Cloud League organizer of the iFLY Colorado Springs team, started with scores and videos for five of the six sequences in May this year, and he was happy with the outcome of the inaugural event. He followed up in June with all six scores and videos and said that the second ICL event at iFLY Colorado Springs enjoyed the largest attendance since he and Emily Bombardi began to offer indoor training and ICL participation in their region of the United States. He noticed earlier this month that the interest in the Indoor Cloud League events in Colorado was still growing, after... (more)
