Did you know that Spieli is turning 60 today? posted: Jul 16th, 2022 A new NSL Profile has been added to the list of celebrities in Formation Skydiving competition. Most of the featured 4-way and 8-way competitors are former or current world champions or medalists, which is nothing unusual. However, there are a few exceptions who caught the attention of NSL News and audience for different reasons.
There are currently five profiles of skydivers who are featured for some of the same and additional different reasons (Robert Chromy, Sven Ibens, Jan Klapka, Michel Lemay, Dr. Joel Shugar), and the new profile falls into the same category.

Did you know that Niklas Hemlin and Dennis Praet are looking back at a special decade? posted: Jul 15th, 2022 The currently best 4-way teams in the world are only little over a week away from testing their respective performance levels under simulated meet conditions. They communicated and agreed to be a part of an online event three months before they will meet each other live at the FAI Outdoor World Meet 2022 in Eloy.

Did you know that HF Flying Circus have completed 74 rounds in eight meets this year? posted: Jul 15th, 2022 The three AAA Class teams at the July meet of the Czech Skydiving League were exactly the same who launched the 2022 outdoor season in June. Only the Czech 4-way juniors continue regularly with the indoor activities, as the NSL News reported on June 30th, while the 4-way seniors enjoy jumping from air planes in the summer months.
The same three teams had completed ten rounds last month, while the July meet suffered weather conditions that allowed only four rounds. HF Flying Circus competed with the same lineup who won the bronze medals of the European Championships at the FAI Indoor World Cup... (more)
Did you know that Skydive Midwest NEXT resume Indoor Cloud League activities this month? posted: Jul 13th, 2022 Skydive Midwest NEXT was the only AAA Class team at the SDC Cloud Games, and they used the great opportunity of a competition draw with a Super Sequence in Round 6 (A,P,N,G,F) to finish with a new team record average.
NEXT actually have a 19.8 average in the team records, which they had posted at the Shamrock Showdown 2021. The competition draw for the event at Skydive City in March last year also included a Super Sequence in Round 2 (Q,K,D,H,L) and allowed the boosted meet average in an even easier way.

Did you know that the next double-gold opportunity is still coming up soon? posted: Jul 12th, 2022 The pursuit of winning gold medals at FAI World Championships of Formation Skydiving in 4-way and 8-way both has been an ongoing topic for the NSL News since French national coach Mathieu Bernier mastered this special challenge in Menzelinsk 2010. He is still the only FS competitor in the history of the sport since 1985 with gold medals in both disciplines at the same event.

Did you know that Ayro and Falco pushed each other to new team record averages? posted: Jul 11th, 2022 The annual Tomscat Trophy in the Netherlands usually features Dutch and Belgian 4-way teams on the leaderboard. In fact, four Belgian teams competed at the last Tomscat Trophy before the corona virus crisis in July 2019, including Ayro and Falco.
Falco had also won the Tomscat Trophy in the AA Class competition of 2017, and they moved up to the AAA Class in 2018, still with Andy Pieters in the original lineup, who had launched the team project with the 1st place in the AA Class at the Tomscat Tropht 2017.
