Did you know that Norway has a FAI medal history in 4-way Women? posted: Aug 15th, 2022 The 3rd place of the Norwegian team Thyra at the national championships last week was not only a successful start into outdoor competition for the young team. It is also great news for the 4-way Women event at the same time.
The NSL News mentioned in the update on August 11th that Norway is planning to bring a 4-way Women team back into international meet action, and probably soon. Thyra have an all-female lineup of young 4-way competitors who are launching the team career with a 10-point average after three heavier rounds with six blocks at the national championships.

Did you know that Italy's Squadra Militare Femminile followed up at the CISM World Championships? posted: Aug 14th, 2022 The NSL News had introduced the Squadra Militare Femminile at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2022. It was the first time since the FAI Outdoor World Meet 2004 that a 4-way Women team from Italy attended FAI world meets or world cups, either indoors or outdoors.
Italy had a consistent presence at the FAI events since the 4-way Women category was introduced in 2000. The last national team, Kewara, missed the FAI bronze medal position twice, first in 2003, followed by a 2-point battle with Ladybirds from Russia in 2004.

Did you know that the DeLand Norgies won again at their latest reunion? posted: Aug 11th, 2022 The NSL News reported a month earlier a year ago that Kjetil Nordin had won national 4-way and 8-way titles in Norway and Denmark both. The timing for his almost annual travel agenda back and forth between the two Scandinavian countries was not favoring a similar situation this year.
Denmark and Norway scheduled their national outdoor championships of 2022 on the same date, and the most passionate 4-way and 8-way competitor had to make a choice where he would compete this time. He staid in Norway and attended both Formation Skydiving events as usual.

Did you know that Denmark added AA Class competition to the national championships? posted: Aug 10th, 2022 The most recent scores came from Denmark and the Scandinavian country's national outdoor championships. The AAA Class leaderboard features a change in the power structure, where a new CISM Denmark lineup outscored the reigning champions of 2021, Sequenz.
Sequenz came back in 2019, after a hibernation period of almost a decade, as the NSL News reported on 9 July 2021. The new lineup made it through the two years of the corona virus crisis after the indoor comeback under the team name "Aetas Volat" at the Danish Indoor Nationals 2019 and returned to outdoor training and competition with Kjetil... Did you know that UVASDM put pressure on Cometas in Brazil's 4-way Women competition? posted: Aug 9th, 2022 Brazil's Outdoor Nationals 2022 included a separate 4-way Women leaderboard. Brazil is one of the few countries in the world with the separation of the AAA Class teams according to their gender at the national championships.
The eleven AAA Class teams in Brazil competed actually in three different categories. Seven teams were eligible for the country's 4-way Open Class championship, three teams with all-female lineups had their own leaderboard, and Adventure Flyers were a guest team from Paraguay.
Sky Flow were new on any 4-way leaderboards in Brazil, while Cometas Women and UVASDM have competed... (more)
Did you know that Paraguay's Adventure Flyers have plans for their second world meet? posted: Aug 8th, 2022 The NSL News featured a new country at FAI World Championships of Formation Skydiving on July 27th. It was 4-way team La Playa from Guatemala with plans to compete at Skydive Arizona in October this year.
Most recently, there was a team from even further south in the Americas that appeared on the leaderboard of Brazil's Outdoor Nationals. Adventure Flyers from Paraguay were back in 4-way competition action in their South American neighbor country.
The upcoming outdoor world meet in Eloy will not the be the first FAI/ISC event for Adventure Flyers though. They were one of the nine 4-way Open... (more)
