Did you know that Purple Maze made the Top 10 with one of the cleanest performances? posted: May 3rd, 2023 The NSL News mentioned in the recent Indoor Cloud League update that the tight competition in 4-way Open and 4-way Women at the FAI Indoor World Championship 2023 still generated only one tie in the rankings on both leaderboards.
It was expected that the competition for the 5th place and the Top 10 positions in 4-way Open would offer exciting battles for the better finishes. It was not a big surprise that the only tie of the whole horizontal Formation Skydiving competition eventually happened right at the Top 10 threshold.

Did you know that seven former and current Skydive Midwest NEXT members are on the new ICL Midwest leaderboard? posted: May 3rd, 2023 It is very unusual if Indoor Cloud League teams end up with tied totals for the six monthly sequences. It is even more unusual when it happens on the top of the leaderboard. In fact, it happened only once in the history of the 14+ leaderboards until the teams of the Hurricane Factory and ICL Midwest finished with 123 points both for the month of April.

Did you know that the German Airfource had their eyes on the Qatar Tigers? posted: May 1st, 2023 The NSL News pointed out on April 28th that Finland's national team in 4-way Open, Purple Maze, finished in the most improved ranking position at the FAI Indoor World Championship 2023, compared to the last NSL Power Rankings before Round 1 at the Hurricane Factory Tatralandia in Slovakia.
Papea improved the Spanish ranking position on the 4-way Open Class leaderboard the most, between the previous indoor world championship at Weembi Lille 2019 and the recent results in Slovakia (14th to 9th), followed by Dutch 4-way team Out Of The Blue (13th to 9th). Did you know that complacency is the top competitor's worst enemy? posted: Apr 29th, 2023 Gary Smith and Kirk Verner were a part of the NSL News countdown towards the FAI Indoor World Championship 2023. They provided their thoughts and expectations during NSL Live Talk on April 11th. Gary Smith was on the way to Qatar, while Kirk Verner was working at Paraclete XP.
The NSL News was hoping to follow up with both in the next conversation after the completion of the event. It was even more difficult to coordinate the three different agendas at that time.

Did you know that Agera concluded Slovakia with NSL Live Talk and a backflip? posted: Apr 28th, 2023 The last NSL Power Rankings before the FAI Indoor World Championship 2023 were posted after NSL Live Talk with Gary Smith and Kirk Verner on April 11th. There were a few adjustments that changed the expected rankings in 4-way Open and 4-way Women slightly.
The Top 8 rankings were exactly in the order as they were expected after the input of the two 4-way experts. Purple Maze from Finland was the most improved team (13 to 9), followed by Agera from Norway (15 to 12). Purple Maze were expected to compete for a Top 10 spot and finished 9th.

Did you know that 4-way Women teams finished stronger than ever? posted: Apr 26th, 2023 The aftermath of the FAI Indoor World Championship 2023 continues with the combined leaderboard of all AAA Class teams in horizontal 4-way. The national teams in 4-way Open and 4-way Women use the identical competition draw, which allows comparing the results directly.
The 4-way VFS teams are using the same numbers and letters as in 4-way Open and 4-way Women, while the event has totally different blocks and random formations, of course.
