It was related to a few recent re-activation efforts of other leagues that will resume with 4-way training and competition activities this year. News Article Did you know that Spain's national team Papea gets ready for the next 5th place battle?
posted: Feb 12th, 2023 The Spanish 4-way teams completed their national indoor championships at Windoor Barcelona on Saturday. Papea, Spain's national indoor and outdoor national team in 4-way Open since 2017, finished with a new team record average, despite a slow competition draw for the ten rounds. Papea is also Spain's military CISM team, as the NSL News mentioned in the past, and they can usually be found at the same 4-way events where NMP PCH HayaBusa and Qatar Tigers compete at the same time. News Article Did you know that the New England Skydiving League was launched in 2000?
posted: Feb 10th, 2023 The recent NSL News updates that reported the comeback of 4-way leagues in the NSL Network seem to initiate interest in other areas of the United States, as well. It began with the Great Lakes Skydiving League with the announcement of a schedule for the 2023 season on January 16th, which was followed soon by the update from Southern California and the history of the Southwest Skydiving League. News Article Did you know that the Indoor Cloud League started into the new year with record numbers?
posted: Feb 9th, 2023 The NSL News reported on January 30th that the Indoor Cloud League had a promising start into the new year, after the ICL teams at Paraclete XP, ICL Midwest and iFLY Colorado Springs had submitted January data even before the month was over. It turned out that the first month of the year lived up to the promising beginning, as the January leaderboard features the highest number of scores and videos since February 2020, the last month before the implications of the corona virus crisis interfered heavily. posted: Feb 8th, 2023 The NSL News update of Christy Frikken's new position as the Southern California Skydiving League director on February 5th included a brief look back into the SCSL history. The story explained that the league started as a part of the Southwest Skydiving League, which eventually split up into the northern (NCSL) and the southern part (SCSL), and a new league in Arizona. The same NSL News update mentioned that both most recent SCSL directors, Josh Hall and Christy Frikken, were participating in the league events at that time with their 4-way team Perris Fury. News Article Did you know that the new XPG4 lineup has the indoor championship and two more months of training before Slovakia?
posted: Feb 7th, 2023 The NSL News reported the change in the lineup of the U.S. national team in 4-way Women, Paraclete XPG4, with the update on January 10th. Jeana Billings continues only in 8-way with XP8, while Michelle Karamon stepped out of the 8-way lineup and moved to XPG4's outside center position. Shannon Catalano is the new XPG4 point.
