posted: May 12th, 2023 There is another team that will not continue after the FAI Indoor World Championship 2023, at least not with the same lineup. It was the team with the shortest time spent together before the competition, which was still enough to win the 4-way Women competition. French national coach Mathieu Bernier had worked silently on his plan to send a very strong 4-way Women team to Slovakia, and he had to convince two team members to join the French national lineup one more time. News Article Did you know that HF Flying Circus take a break after eight years with the same lineup?
posted: May 10th, 2023 A fairy tale 4-way story came to an end at the FAI Indoor World Championship 2023, or at least to an interruption. HF Flying Circus, the Czech national 4-way indoor and outdoor team, knew already before traveling to Slovakia that the event would mean the farewell to 4-way training and competition with the lineup of the past eight years. It's the second recent loss of a very popular team. Chimera, the British national team in 4-way Open of the past years, announced this January that they would not continue as a 4-way team. posted: May 8th, 2023 The NSL News reported on May 6th that Sweden's national team in 4-way Open, Echochamber Oceanside, lost six points in a very unusual way at the FAI Indoor World Championship 2023. The story provided a brief overview of the situation that caused the deduction of the mentioned six points. Echochamber lost the first three points in an unusual way in Round 4, the last competition round of the first event day. The second 3-point loss occurred in Round 6, the second round on Friday. News Article Did you know that the four teams behind the Top 10 together outscored Purple Maze and Papea?
posted: May 7th, 2023 The Top 10 positions in 4-way Open at the FAI Indoor World Championship 2023 turned out to be quite well defined, as the NSL News reported on May 3rd. Purple Maze (Finland) and Papea (Spain) had eventually created a 9-point difference to the next team in 11th place (Out Of The Blue). Gary Smith still gave the Dutch national team in 4-way Open, Out Of The Blue (OOTB), a lot of credit during his evaluation of the results on April 29th. posted: May 6th, 2023 The aftermath of the FAI Indoor World Championship 2023 continues with the part of the 4-way Open Class leaderboard that was promising the tightest and most competitive situation before the event even began with Round 1. Five teams battled round by round for the highest positions behind the four medal contenders, and also behind the Jochen Schweizer Arena Airfource from Germany, who distanced themselves from the same five teams and finished closer to the Qatar Tigers than expected. News Article Did you know that Lori Connor prepares 4-way fans for the comeback of the Northern California Skydiving League?
posted: May 5th, 2023 The NSL News reported on February 15th that the Northern California Skydiving League has a comeback this year. NCSL Director Lori Connor has scheduled three outdoor meets for the 2023 season, and she started her preparations with indoor events at the region's windtunnels that used to participate in the events of the World Tunnel League. She provided more details of her earlier indoor events this year. The Northern California Skydiving League returned to the region's windtunnels in March with the Skill Rush 4-way event series.
