Did you know that Colorado teams competed in Scrambles and the Rookie Class last weekend? posted: Sep 18th, 2005 The Caged Animals attended the team's third meet of the COSL 2005 season in the Rookie Class, while two line-ups were formed for the COSL 4-way Scrambles.
The COSL Scrambles use a different competition draw and are thereforelisted in a separate ranking. (more)
Did you know that Perris Fury is looking for a future world champion? posted: Sep 17th, 2005 The 2005 season has not even been completed yet, and the planning for the 2006 season is already on the way for many teams. Some leagues still have meets of the regular season to come, and the NSL Championship at SkyQuest 2005 will be the last Formation Skydiving competition this year.
However, it is always beneficial for teams to begin with planning and preparing for the next season as soon as possible. Perris Fury seems to be one of the earliest starters, and there is a good reason for this: the team has big plans for the 2006 season.

Did you know that the AA Class competition for medals was even closer than the AAA Class race? posted: Sep 15th, 2005 The NSL News has not completed the coverage of the AA/Intermediate Class competition at the USPA Nationals 2005 yet. The last story explained the AA Class situation at the end of round eight, when the battle between Elsinore Equinox and Arizona Divewerkz mirrored the race between the Golden Knights and DeLand Fire in the AAA/Open Class competition.

Did you know that the NSL News hand-delivered SkyVenture Orlando certificates to several teams? posted: Sep 14th, 2005 The NSL News had caught up with the results of the NSL SkyVenture Orlando Competition 2005 before the trip to the USPA Nationals and announced that the award certificates would be hand-delivered in Perris to as many of the winning teams as possible.
It was a tight schedule on competition site, however there was still enough time here and there to locate the teams and even take some pictures for the NSL News.
The presentation of the SkyVenture Orlando certificates had its peak at the 4-way award ceremony when Southwest Skydiving League Director Pamela Stevens had the opportunity to celebrate... (more)
Did you know that the Colorado league's Air Force teams peaked in Perris last week? posted: Sep 13th, 2005 The NSL News missed one meet update of the Colorado Skydiving League. The scores of the two COSL teams that competed on the August 20 - 21 playoffs weekend were posted. However, COSL Director Brian Vande Krol had provided additional information of the meet, which has now been added to the league's homepage.
The same two teams that competed on the NSL Playoffs 2005 weekend in Colorado traveled to Perris, California, shortly afterwards and competed in the AA/Intermediate Class of the USPA Nationals 2005.
