News Article Did you know that MASL team Wind Shear is looking for a 4th member?
posted: Aug 1st, 2008 The MASL Karp Cup 2008 last weekend was already the 7th time that Skydive Cross Keys hosted the memorial of the MidAtlantic Skydiving League for one of its 4-way competitors, Seth Karp, passed member of former 4-way team JetStream. Seth Karp lost his life in a landing accident in 2002. MASL Director Cherie Schuch once again organized the event and welcomed this year's six attending teams. Blue Impulse and Beer by 4 competed in the AA Class. Blue Impulse (Kathy-Ann Cadogen, Marieta Kaseva, Dennis Miller, Michal Motykiewicz, Barry Bichler on camera) is a new lineup that trains at Cross Keys. Cherie... (more)
News Article Did you know that the MASL teams and competitors are still waiting for better weather?
posted: May 19th, 2008 Last weekend's leaderboard also includes two teams from the MidAtlantic Skydiving League. League Director Cherie Schuch reported that the weather made it very difficult for the teams at Cross Keys so far this year. The meet was first canceled due to the bad forecast, but only until it looked more promising Saturday morning: "We have not been having a lot of luck with the weather up here. No big surprise that we had to cancel the meet on Friday night. However, at 6 am next morning we put it back on again." News Article Did you know that more freeflyers competed in the MidAtlantic Skydiving League last weekend?
posted: Aug 16th, 2007 Cross Keys Air Pollution has been competing in the MidAtlantic Skydiving League almost ever since the MASL was launched in 2001. The NSL News found the first team photo in the NSL Achives of 2002. The first recorded scores in the NSL archives were posted on 31 May 2003 in the AA Class with a 5.5 average. The team is still around with the same team name and some original members, only the scoring and performance level has changed significantly. Air Pollution still competes in the AA Class, and this year's meet averages (11.3 - 12.3 - 13.9) have moved the MASL team up to the top rankings in the... (more)
News Article Did you know that more freeflyers joined the 4-way meet at Cross Keys' Karp Cup 2007?
posted: Jul 24th, 2007 Skydive Cross Keys in New Jersey hosted the 5th annual Karp Cup 4-way meet last weekend honoring the life of Seth Karp, team member and Point of the former MASL team Jetstream. The turnout for the meet was the largest yet with two Rookie Class teams, four teams in the A Class and two teams in the AA Class. In addition to the eight 4-way teams Skydive Cross Keys had over 200 tandems scheduled due to a police tandem charity event for Special Olympics and an unusually large volume of spectators. News Article Did you know that Cross Keys Air Pollution climbs to the top of the AA Class?
posted: Jun 21st, 2007 The NSL News introduces the next contender for this year's top positions. Ranch Pulse was already covered as one of the top contenders in USPA's AAA/Advanced Class competition for this year's championship with the story on June 5. This time, the AA/Intermediate Class competition has its turn and finds one of the top teams in the MidAtlantic Skydiving League. Skydive Cross Keys hosted the second attempt to launch the 2007 season last weekend. The first event, the MASL Rookie Challenge, was scheduled for April 28 and weathered out.
