posted: Sep 7th, 2011 Freefall Adventures and MidAtlantic Skydiving League joined forces for the second time this year to offer Rookie Class competitors the opportunity to learn more about 4way and make some fun skydives at Cross Keys. Once again, host Freefall Adventures provided free slots for coaches and videographers at the September meet last weekend. MASL Director Dennis Miller remembered that the MASL community had learned at the last MASL Scrambles in June that tunnel experience can be just as valuable as jump numbers. News Article Did you know that there was a serious slot scramble last weekend at Cross Keys?
posted: Aug 25th, 2011 Last weekend's leaderboard is not complete yet, as scores from the Carolina Skydiving League are still missing. Two teams from Finland are still on top in both categories after scores from Germany, Finland and Cross Keys have been posted. In the meantime, Ireland had the natonal championships, and teams in Italy are in full swing, as well. The NSL News will follow up on those events very soon. Two teams from the MidAtlantic Skydiving League are probably glad that they were in the air last weekend. Hurricane Irene is heading straight at Cross Keys, and there will most likely not be any parachute... (more)
News Article Did you know that Round 2 of the Karp Cup was jump number 200 for Mariaelena Rodriguez?
posted: Jul 23rd, 2011 Last weekend's large leaderboard also included two different Teiwaz lineups. One was attending the second summer heat meet in Sebastian, while Teiwaz North competed at the Karp Cup at Cross Keys. Cherie and Karl Schuch, Teiwaz members of many years now, accepted two new members, Marty Schneider and Rob Fields. Both have been active 4-way competitors at local, regional and national competitions for a long time. They won gold medals in the Intermediate Class at the USPA Nationals 2007 with Cross Keys Air Pollution. Their team mates in 2007 were - Cherie and Karl Schuch. However, the actual Air... (more)
News Article Did you know that windtunnel training helped the MASL Rookie Class winners?
posted: Jun 29th, 2011 The MidAtlantic Skydiving League called the Cross Keys rookies to action once again last weekend. Experienced player coaches helped to form four lineups who completed between four and six rounds. The strongest MASL Rookie Class team, Dirty Slots, with player coach and former Air Pollution member Rob Fields, even made it to the 2nd place on last weekend's overall Rookie Class leaderboard with a 6.8 average after six rounds. Only the Czech team Hvezdy scored higher in its second Rookie Class year. MASL Director Dennis Miller reported that the weather at Cross Keys once again just barely held... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Cross Keys Rookies are ready to come back for more?
posted: May 23rd, 2011 The small May meet of the Florida Skydiving League at Skydive Miami produced great content for a few updates from Homestead, and it was only one part of last weekend's first multi-event weekend this year. Three other meets were scheduled for the same weekend, and new scores have been added to the leaderboard. Five teams attended the May meey of the MidAtlantic Skydiving League at Cross Keys. Three A Class teams posted scores in Virginia, and the results from Start Skydiving, host of the Mideast Skydiving League meets, will be added later. News Article Did you know that the 2010 competition season fades out with record numbers?
posted: Sep 22nd, 2010 The 2010 competition season in the USA is slowly coming to its end. A few smaller regional meets were still on the NSL Calendar, while teams competed at the USPA Nationals 2010 or on the weekend after the completion in Ottawa. The Florida Skydiving League still has one more meet in October before SkyQuest 2010 invites all teams to attend the NSL Championship at the fun event in DeLand. Over 100 leaderboards were created in the Skyleague.com database this year, and more stories than ever came along with the scores, videos and photos.
