Did You Know...

... that four teams competed for two iFLY Dallas highscores in March?

SSD Pajama Party at the TSL April Meet
posted May 12th, 2026 - Kyle Hermberg, Indoor Cloud League organizer and Skydiver of the Year 2023, did not have the full SSD Pajama Party lineup available for his iFLY Dallas team in March. Their indoor season had already concluded at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2026, where the team earned its first set of medals.

In fact, Pajama Party had already transitioned to outdoor training and competition, posting their first outdoor scores at the season opener of the Texas Skydiving League. They shared the AA/Intermediate Class leaderboard with Texas team Toxic Horizon and four teams from the Southern California Skydiving League.

Nevertheless, Pajama Party member Deanna Anderson still participated in the ICL event in March alongside her husband, Nick Anderson, who also serves as the team’s videographer during outdoor training and competition. Nick Anderson joined the active lineup for the two 4-way Open Class sequences (AAA/AA) in March, while team coach Kyle Hermberg also returned to competition action. Alexa Maydew completed the lineup that contributed a total of 29 points (15–14) to the March score for the iFLY Dallas team. Deanna Anderson, Kyle Hermberg, and Nick Anderson competed only in those two sequences, while Alexa Maydew took on additional assignments in two other lineups as well.

Four different teams actually competed for the highest scores in the next two NSL competition classes (A/RRR). Alexa Maydew’s lineup with Donaldo Grajeda, Mauricio Farina, and Scott Kucel won the internal competition and added 41 points to the 29 points posted by her AAA/AA lineup.

She also matched the A Class high score of 18 points together with Lucas King, Michael Erickson, and Shannon McCarthy. The remaining two Rookie Class lineups, featuring player-coaches Lucas King and Michael Erickson, contributed the final scores that brought the March total to 117 points.

None of the AAA/AA scores came close to the world-class performances posted by the Czech Skywalkers Most in March, while the iFLY Dallas team still finished not far behind the new CSC Constellation XP lineup. There was only a two-point difference for the AAA sequence, and the two teams were separated by just one point in the AA Class. CSC Constellation XP are preparing for this year’s AAA/Advanced Class competition, while SSD Pajama Party will spend their second season in the AA/Intermediate Class. As other ICL participants before, Pajama Party member Deanna Anderson uses the Indoor Cloud League events to learn and train the full dive pool, while Alexa Maydew is already experienced in AAA Class competition following her time with Aeroworx and previous Indoor Cloud League events.
