posted Apr 20th, 2026 - The internal Indoor Cloud League Rookie Class competition of the Midwest team in February was expanded by Natalie Rodriguez and Russ Bayuk in March. The six Rookie Class lineups (RRR - RR - R) also added the A Class sequence to their ICL agenda.

The new CSC Constellation XP lineup returned to action and completed the two 4-way Open Class sequences (AAA - AA). Three of the other six teams shared the high scores in the remaining four sequences (A - RRR - RR - R). Competition for the top scores in these four categories was close, with the winning teams featured on the monthly Indoor Cloud League leaderboards.

Gus Bittenbender’s and Natalie Rodriguez’s lineups tied with 13 points in the A Class sequence, while Abby Smat (Josh Hitchcock, Nick Sclafani, James Spencer) finished just one point behind the RRR high score of 19, set by the original CSC Constellation XP member and her lineup (Douglas Smith, Braven Leung, Herman Lopez, Sarah Alghareeb). Three teams even exceeded the 25-point scoring limit in the RR Class sequence, and Natalie Rodriguez topped the March leaderboard in the remaining two Rookie Class sequences (RR - R). ICL Midwest teams are not yet able to keep pace with the well-trained Czech youngsters in the technical categories (AAA - AA - A), though they are already matching the scoring limits in the Rookie Class sequences.

CSC Constellation is back with a new lineup, aiming to get closer to the Czech Skywalkers Most at the highest level of 4-way competition. They concluded their first year in AAA Class competition with Advanced Class bronze medals at the USPA Nationals 2025, where only the Air Force Academy teams finished ahead of them. However, the gap to the Advanced Class gold and silver medalists was not large enough to discourage CSC Constellation XP, and Natalie Rodriguez and Russ Bayuk began assembling a new lineup for the 2026 season.

The Constellation lineup for this year is now complete. Natalie Rodriguez and Russ Bayuk continue with coach Andrew Happick, joined by new members Marion Stallworth and Steve Vigliotti. The two newcomers previously competed together on Very Very Serious, which placed 8th on the same leaderboard. Marion Stallworth already has a USPA bronze medal, earned while training and competing with SDC Rhuthless from 2022 to 2024. SDC Rhuthless claimed their Advanced Class bronze medals in 2022 with player-coach Steve Lefkowitz in the lineup, a former teammate of Constellation coach Andrew Happick.

ICL Midwest player-coaches Abby Smat, Eric Sweet, and Gus Bitterbender have been training and competing with the AA Class team CSC Singularity since 2024 and are preparing for the 2026 season. Chicagoland Skydiving Center owner Doug Smith was part of Natalie Rodriguez’s lineup, which posted the highest scores in all four categories below AAA and AA.
