posted Oct 3rd, 2020 - AA Class team F-5 caught the NSL News attention after the 2nd place at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2020. In fact, it was the 1-point battle for the 1st place that was covered earlier and related to the winning team Barhons, with Indoor Cloud League organizer Kyle Hermberg in the lineup.

The NSL News could find neither of the two team names in the records, and Barhons was indeed a new team put together only for the Paraclete competition. This was not the case for F-5 who had only changed the team name after a change in the lineup, as the NSL News eventually heard from the team directly.

The NSL News update on May 3rd then explained how the team name changed from inXPerience to F-5 and finally to Kaos Theory XP.

It was not difficult to find the same team next time when they participated under the same name, which was last month in the Skydiving Nationals 2.0 online competition. It was even easier than before, as Kaos Theory XP finished on the top of the AA/Intermediate Class leaderboard, and the NSL News was aware of the new name even before the team's first outdoor competition in 2020 and after the previous news article in May.

Kaos Theory and Spaceland Toxic at the Skydiving Nationals 2.0

The lineup was once again different though. This time, inside center Anna Brunner was not available. She is one of the three original team members (Anna Brunner, Preston James, Carl Kallgren) and missed her first meet with the team under all three names due to a knee surgery that she is currently recovering from.

Jason McClure, who joined F-5/Kaos Theory XP after the USPA Nationals 2019 as the new point, and team videographer Charlie Mcgee were both back in the lineup with Preston James and Carl Kallgren for the Skydive Nationals 2.0 and finished with a substitute in 1st place.

The replacement for Anna Brunner was surely helpful in lifting the meet average to a new record level for Kaos Theory XP. Brandon Kashani, Vega XP's inside center of 2018 and 2019, was available to help out in his slot. He did not continue with Vega XP after the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship where Vega XP won the AAA/Advanced Class competition. He stepped back into the AA Class for the Skydive Nationals 2.0 and finished once again on the top of the leaderboard with Kaos Theory XP.

Brandon Kashani in the team's driver's seat helped Preston James and Carl Kallgren to improve their 8.6 outdoor average at the USPA Nationals 2019 to 11.3 a year later, together with point Jason McClure and Charlie Mcgee on camera.

Spaceland Toxic and inXPerience at the USPA Nationals 2019

It is a promising outdoor start for Kaos Theory XP, even though Anna Brunner was not in the lineup. The 11.3 average with Brandon Kashani would have been within striking distance of USPA Intermediate Class medals at the USPA Nationals 2019, where inXPerience had finished in 16th place.

Spaceland Toxic posted an 11.2 average last year and ended up two points behind in 4th place, three points behind the silver medal position. The Texas team completed the same ten rounds of the Skydive Nationals 2.0 in September and placed 3rd on the same leaderboard. However, Toxic staid below last year's scoring level and 12 points behind Kaos Theory XP.

Anna Brunner will be back soon, and the team has made plans for the 2021 season. They will continue with training at the Triangle Skydiving Center and Skydive Paraclete XP. Anna Brunner has already shown her own progression after a 17.0 average at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2019 and the 19.1 this year with the complete lineup.

Now she just has to copy what Brandon Kashani was showing at the outdoor competition, and Kaos Theory XP will be ready for medal contention at the USPA Nationals 2021, most likely together with and against Spaceland Toxic...
