Did You Know...

... that Ben Liston provided more meet details from SkyVenture New Hampshire?

Ben Liston handing out prizes at SkyVenture New Hampshire
posted Feb 18th, 2020 - Ben Liston, Skydiver of the Year in 2018, needed some time to recover after this year's SkyVenture New Hampshire Fest, while the NSL News was hoping to hear more of the event details directly from the meet director.

Between job, family, skydiving activities and other life obligations he eventually made some time for a new NSL Live Talk, which was recorded yesterday afternoon.

His event has grown into the biggest 4-way indoor competition in the United States, which is due to his tireless efforts in putting together an attractive event package for the participants. He said that he is grateful for the support by the hosts, Laurie Waas and Rob Greer, who have been welcoming his efforts and the 4-way teams and competitors year by year.

Ben Liston is also soliciting support from the skydiving industry and community every year, which alone is almost a full-time job. Performance Designs, United Parachute Technologies and Cookie are the main industry sponsors for event prizes, while New England's skydiving centers (Skydive New England, Connecticut Parachutists, Inc., Jumptown, Skydive Pepperell, Skydive Danielson) are also donating free jumps and other prizes.

Offering a fun event to the local and regional skydivers and fliers on the grass-root level is one of Ben Liston's main goals. He attracted a total of 36 teams to SkyVenture New Hampshire, which was more challenging this year.

Ranch 2nd Generation and Lite XP have had a significant following in the history of the event, and both teams did not return to SkyVenture New Hampshire. The NSL News explained how the R2G members are currently very busy with their new team assignments.

Lite XP have neither made any team plans for the 2020 season. Only Dave Grabowski and Andre Van Heerden were back at SkyVenture New Hampshire and competed with Roger Cunha and Alex Jordaan in the AAA Class for the Flying Spaghetti Monsters. They also guided a few other teams as player-coaches.

However, Ben Liston still had 36 teams and completed the ten meet rounds once again on the same day. Now he turns to the outdoor season, where he has plans, as well...
