Did You Know...

... that Golden Knights and Brit Chicks are on NSL-TV first time?

First time on NSL-TV: Golden Knights
posted Aug 1st, 2011 - It's getting closer to the real thing. The latest video clip is showing four teams in action with official training jumps that were made at the World Challenge 2011 today.

NSL-TV picked the videos of the Brit Chicks and the female lineup of the Golden Knights since these two teams have never been shown on NSL-TV so far. In fact, the recent story of the Golden Knights and their expected position in the female 4way competition made it even more interesting to see how the team is performing in freefall.

The Brit Chicks left their mark in Germany no matter how the results will be like. Even staff people in Saarlouis-Duren were impressed with the British all-female 8way lineup. "It's the coolest team" was one of the remarks when the Brit Chicks were done with their registration procedure. Their training jump looks cool, too...

Lice competition draw on stage
The competition draw was done live on the stage, letter and number by letter and number and round by round. It was an atmosphere like a lottery, as the equipment looked just as well like in a late night money show. The NSL News camera captured the actual competition draw and how teams and competitors took their notes.

No news that it gets busy usually right after the draw. The 8way teams started with the dirtdive while the judges were still drawing the numbers and letters for the 4way teams. There is actually no reason to make two different draws for both events since each dive pool has the same numbers and letters, A to Q and 1 to 22. However, they all went back into the container for a new 4way shuffle.

The NSL News will try to find an expert in the morning to comment the draw. Only Round 9, the semifinal, is of special interest as it is somehow a CISM sequence (N,F,A,7) with three random formations first and then a block at the end. NMP-PCH Hayabusa will probably like the sequence and knows well how to handle this situation.
