However, the Russian teams still completed the 10-round meet after several delays. The Sky Panthers saved a 4-point lead over the finish line and qualified as the Rusian national 4-way team 2008 with a 24.3 average. The Paraclete XP Money Meet 2008 began with the first part of the event, the indoor competition that runs parallel with the outdoor event. posted: Jun 11th, 2008 The NSL News story on 21 May 2008 brought the sad news that Fastrax Blue member Kelley Frederickson had died in her sleep at night in the middle of a training camp in Perris. Fastrax founder John Hart wrote "A tribute to our friend" that was posted with the same story. Kelley's three Fastrax Blue team mates, Becky Broccato (Tail), Erin Murphy (Outside Center) and Brianne Thompson (Inside Center) took some time off and then decided recently to continue the team project with a new member in the Point position. News Article Did you know that the SCSL meet in Perris brought up Piver trouble?
posted: Jun 2nd, 2008 The scores of last weekend's competitions have been flowing in today, and the overall leaderboard is almost complete. Bodyflight Storm, the British national 4-way team in the female category, is on the very top of the AAA Class leaderboard with currently 14 teams. Storm arrived in Perris just before the SCSL meet weekend for the next outdoor training camp. Event judge Judy Celaya reported that Bodyflight Storm was jumping with a "pretty good case of jet lag". She said that the team did well in spite of it and only got "a bit rough in the last rounds." (more)

posted: May 7th, 2008 The beginning of the 2008 season has already been quite busy for Perris Fury. The NSL News has covered the team activities with several stories. Most of them were related to the two meets that the California team has attended so far, the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2008 and the World Challenge 2008. The Fury members also attended the first meet of the California Skydiving League 2008 season in Elsinore. Josh Hall competed with the Founding Fathers, Chris Farina and Christy Frikken were player coaches for Perris 4Shock. News Article Did you know that Bodyflight Storm and Satori have a friendly rivalry this year?
posted: Apr 23rd, 2008 The NSL News continues with the same topics of the last two days and adds some. The Airspeed Odyssey Bloopers were well received and entertained the audience, thanks to Andy Delk. In fact, it was obviously so inspiring that Bodyflight Storm's videographer Gary Wainwright was encouraged by his team to create a similar clip.
