Did you know that British security is on highest Fun Flag alert? posted: Apr 4th, 2013 Thursday's NSL News live coverage of the World Challenge 2013 continues with teams that may not be so much in the spotlight during the competition, when the top of the leaderboard catches most of the attention.
The NSL News featured Kalle Pohjola earlier today, the 12-year young 4way competitor from Finland who flies the Tail slot for the Pro Team. Father Kimmo is the team's Center Outside, and mother Outi is across of the formations in the Point slot.
The NSL Reality TV camera captured more of Kalle's performance and zoomed in on him while he was turning points. Rookie Class opponent Panik... (more)
Did you know that the Mondial 2012 in Dubai could have been a golden opportunity? posted: Jan 15th, 2013 The last NSL News contribution for Blue Skies Mag was published after the live coverage of the Mondial Dubai 2012 and was only indirectly related to the event. The main focus was on the 10-year anniversary of live event coverage by the NSL News. The Mondial 2012 was the perfect opportunity to celebrate the special occasion.
The athletic part of the event and little excursions to other topics here and there were covered comprehensively. Different Dubai stories are still making the news on a regular basis. However, there was another part of the same event that was not related to scores and perfomances,... (more)
Did you know that Martial Ferre was filming the last Fun Flag takeover in Dubai? posted: Jan 3rd, 2013 The NSL News reported on 4 December 2012 that the Fun Flag was in Danish possession. It was the latest Fun Flag update from the Mondial Dubai 2012.
The photo that came with the update was showing the three Danish Divas members in a Fun Flag photo op. The scenerie was similar to the one that Perris Wicked and Bodyflight Aerodyne members used to feature the Fun Flag at the World Challenge 2012.
Veloce filmmaker Martial Ferre, French 4way world champion of 1999 and 8way word champion of 2010, later provided the NSL News with video footage that he captured when the Danish Divas took the Fun Flag... (more)

Did you know that France may have secured the first set of gold medals? posted: Dec 4th, 2012 The 8way teams are in the air for Round 8, and they did not know how the leaderboard looked like after Round 7. It was probably not really necessary this time, as Aerodyne Maubeuge was most likely still in the hunt. It is unlikely that any of the top teams would be able to outscore the opponent by four points in one round.
Dubai Asaar's 8way lineup picked up a point on South Africa, while M8Trix tied the 10-pointer. The Brit Chicks are defending the 6th place and have not been judged yet. Brazil's CTR Optimum 8way lineup also stole a point from the Qatar Falcons and are only two points behind... (more)

It was recorded in the later morning after the first rounds were completed in 8way and before the 4way teams started jumping.

Last not least, the NSL News tried to find out the current situation of... (more)
