Did you know that French 8-way experts posted a 29.4 average in 4-way at the World Challenge? posted: May 20th, 2010 There was a team in the Top 10 at the World Challenge 2010 that has not received a lot of attention so far. It is somehow unusual that a 29.4 average would not catch everybody's attention.
In fact, a 29.4 average would have won the first place at any previous World Challenge competition in the history of the event. Only three teams had ever posted a higher average in a 10-round meet before the World Challenge 2010: Perris Fury (29.8) at the Paraclete Indoor Championship 2009 and Arizona Airspeed with the same average in 2008, Perris Fury and the Golden Knights at Paraclete in 2008 with 29.6... Did you know that Teiwaz had a Rookie Class lineup at Skydive City? posted: May 18th, 2010 The weather played a role at all meets last weekend. It was too cold and miserable in Norway and too hot in Florida for the teams to come out in flocks.
The teams in Denmark were limited to five rounds at the popular DFU Cup.
The new Norwegian national 4-way team X3M4s was actually ready to put the first scores of 2010 on the board. It turned out to be only one single round in challenging weather conditions, while Denmark's national team Bodyflight Voluntas completed five rounds.
The May meet of the Florida Skydiving League was also the smallest one in a long time, although the weather... (more)
Did you know that the red Brit Chicks jump suits caught attention at the World Challenge 2010? posted: May 17th, 2010 Earlier NSL News stories after the completion of the World Challenge 2010 covered the situation of the top teams in IPC's female 4-way category, Aerokart Deep Blue and Team Bodyflight. Did you know that Bodyflight Voluntas scored the next national record for a single round? posted: May 16th, 2010 The NSL News just reported on 8 May 2010 how the Danish national 4-way team Bodyflight Voluntas will be a part of a few interesting races at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010, including the battle of the Scandinavian 4-way teams for the top spot of the nations in the northern part of Europe. It was pure coincidence that Denmark, Finland and Norway had scheduled meets for this weekend.
The scores from Denmark have been posted, and the teams completed only five rounds, as bad weather did not allow the completion of all ten rounds. However, the first five rounds included a fast... (more)
