Did you know that the NSL website has long been the hub of detailed and interesting news for hardcore 4-way geeks? posted: Jan 5th, 2011 The NSL office has had a new neighbor since Blue Skies Mag moved in a few months ago.
The whole neighborhood was already under the control of skydiving businesses when the NSL moved into the current office a few years ago. The skydiving plaza alone is hosting the Jumpshack, Merlin Suits, Skydiving Outlet and a small rigging loft, with the United Parachute Technologies building right next to the little square.
The new next door neighbor is just as much a great addition to the neighborhood as it is a great asset for the media coverage of the skydiving world. Kolla Kolbeinsdottir, Lara Kjeldsen... (more)
Did you know that a German 4-way team in Dubai has very Connatural relationships? posted: Jan 4th, 2011 The NSL News never looks only at the top contenders at any meets. Usually there is great competition everywhere on the leaderboard, which deserves the same attention. However, as in other sports, many of the world class athletes are also the leaders in the sport and more visible.
Several of the "other teams" at the Dubai Championship 2011 have been covered by the NSL News in the past, and there are also competitors in Dubai who make the trip just with a team for the meet.
The lineup of one of those "pickup" teams recently caught the NSL News attention. One of the two German teams in Dubai... (more)
Did you know that each of the three top contenders in Dubai has one new member? posted: Jan 3rd, 2011 The NSL News is ready for the coverage of the Dubai Championship 2011. The event pages with the preview stories, polls and discussion options on Facebook are set. The first scores will hopefully be posted on Friday, along with reports from correspondents in Dubai.
The leaderboards show the registered teams, and the team names in the Open Class field indicate that the total of $45,000 will be divided between Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge, Arizona Airspeed and NMP-PCH Hayabusa. This would be a copy of the Dubai leaderboard in January 2010.
Russia has registered two strong teams, as well. However,... (more)

Occasion was the annual New Year's Boogie, which started out years ago as the "Cross Keys Invasion". Visitors are now coming from many other regions, as well, and SDC Rhythm XP spending the winter season in Sebastian brings additional traffic to the south from the Midwest Skydiving League region.

Did you know that GT Wreckless won silver at the USPA Collegiates 2010? posted: Jan 1st, 2011 The scores of the USPA Collegiates 2009 were actually posted in 2010 on the NSL website last year. This time, the scores of the same event are really the last ones of the 2010 season - indoor or outdoor.
Only a total of eight teams made the trip to Skydive Arizona, compared to 14 teams last year. Six of the eight teams are lineups of the military schools, the other two lineups are civilian ones.
One of the two civilian teams did really well in the contest with the well trained and fully covered military lineups and deserves additional respect for the performance in Arizona. GT Wreckless finished... (more)
Did you know that John Eagle is Airspeed's Tail in Dubai? posted: Dec 31st, 2010 The recent previews of the Dubai Championship 2011 need another correction.
Arizona Airspeed's Center Outside Craig Girard informed the NSL News that Mark Kirkby will not be available next week. His new Airspeed lineup is in training, and the trip to Dubai would interfere with the new Airspeed plans.
Craig Girard, Eliana Rodriguez and Andy Delk found a good substitute for the Airspeed lineup in Dubai though.
Former Airspeed Point John Eagle will take Mark Kirkby's Tail slot. John Eagle has been flying the Tail slot for Paraclete XP4 in 2009 and 2010 and knows what to do in the rear piece.... (more)
