posted: May 1st, 2009 The NSL News has already covered a few exciting smaller races within the field of 47 teams at the World Challenge 2009. The trio of Satori (United Kingdom), Kaktus Hunter (Russia) and Aerokart Pamiers (France) follows Aerokart Deep Blue and Pussy Galore at each new round of NSL YouTube TV, in reverse order, according to the final rankings, and these three teams had their own little world meet going throughout the ten rounds at Bodyflight Bedford. News Article Did you know that Spaceland Blue joins Spaceland Force XP in Texas?
posted: Apr 30th, 2009 The NSL News reported on 12 December 2008 (Archives > 2008 > News > Search for: "Fastrax Blue") that former Arizona Divewerkz member Annie Peterson had joined the US national 4-way team in the female category, formerly known as Fastrax Blue. Becky Brocato, Brianne Thompson and Erin Murphy had won the silver medals at the World Meet 2008 in France with Perris Fury member Christy Frikken in the Point slot, one single point behind Bodyflight Storm. News Article Did you know that Elsinore BTE had to swallow a 10-point deduction in Round 1?
posted: Apr 29th, 2009 The NSL News introduced two new lineups of the Southern California Skydiving League already before the SCSL competition season had begun, PACK'D from San Diego on 13 April 2009, and Elsinore BTE from the home DZ of the season opener on 22 April 2009. Both teams obviously attended the competition in Elsinore, and both teams finished in 1st place of their divisions with small fields on a weekend with two meets, one in Elsinore and the other one in South Carolina. News Article Did you know that Czech teams competed once again at Bodyflight Bedford?
posted: Apr 28th, 2009 Last weekend's scores of the two meets in California and Carolina are posted, and the leaderboard is complete. More information will follow soon with the meet stories. Teams competed in three competition classes. The Southern California Skydiving League won the AAA Class (Elsinore BTE) and the Rookie Class (PACK'D), while Carolina Ice took the 1st place in the 9-team AA Class competition. (more)

posted: Apr 27th, 2009 Several NSL YouTube TV fans have already noticed that Round 8 of the World Challenge 2009 was uploaded a few days ago and has been available for reviews. A Norwegian competitor directed special attention to Round 8 of the Norwegian world class 4-way team Arcteryx. He pointed out that Arcteryx member Ole Petter Hjelle in the Tail slot loses his helmet in the heat of the competition action. Ole Petter Hjelle mentioned to the NSL News already during a conversation in Bedford that he had an interesting equipment experience in Round 8. News Article Did you know that Thomas Hughes competed in both World Challenge 2009 events?
posted: Apr 26th, 2009 The NSL News reported on 17 April 2009 that Team Future's siblings, Kayla and Justin Tinucci, competed in both 4-way and Freeflying competitions at the World Challenge 2009. The NSL YouTube TV video in the same story featured the flying kids in both events. Kayla and Justin Tinucci were not the only competitors switching back and forth between 4-way and Freeflying this time. Thomas Hughes, who competed with XL at the tunnel competition, must have been inspired after watching the Tinucci siblings last year in Bedford.
