Did you know that the European Skydiving League celebrates its 2010 championships this weekend? posted: Sep 7th, 2010 The USPA Nationals 2010 is not the only major event beginning this weekend. Several European teams also celebrate the conclusion of the 2010 season at the ESL Championship 2010 where the ESL Spirit is one again on stake at the fun event.
UK correspondent Jo Hawley provided a preview of the event. She will also be at the competition site to send updates for the NSL News, while ESL organizer Mike Pennock promised to provide the scores as soon as they are available. The NSL News will report from the USPA Nationals at the same time.

Did you know that 8-way team Intercept celebrated a special reunion this summer? posted: Sep 6th, 2010 The USPA Nationals 2010 are only a week away, and a very different event caught the NSL News attention recently. Jumping was not involved, but this event was still related to the upcoming national champioinships.
8-way Intermediate Class team Intercept took the 1st place at the USPA Nationals 1996, which were held at the Blue Sky Ranch by then. Intercept (Ed Ganley, Dean Giannantonio, Brad Reed, Don Bick, Kurt Gaebel, Lee Cronk, Tim McKee, Dick Dietrich, with Van Wideman on camera) won the competition but could not take the USPA gold medals, as the team was only on guest status.

Did you know that Team Adrenalin took the A Class record scores from UK team Full Stop? posted: Sep 4th, 2010 The NSL News covered the Italian Nationals 2010 with the story on 27 August 2010. The focus was mostly on Italy's national 4-way team Sinapsi, especially on Luca Marchioro and Livio Piccolo who won their 10th national title this year.

Did you know that the semi-finalists were split up into two matches after Round 6 in Menzelinsk? posted: Sep 3rd, 2010 The NSL News story 22 August 2010 featured Rounds 1 - 3 of the semi-finalists at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010. It is time to follow up with the next three rounds of the four teams that competed for the unofficial title of the "amateur world champion".

Did you know that the Midwest Skydiving League had a record breaking 2010 season? posted: Sep 2nd, 2010 The Midwest Skydiving League meets this season have been plagued by threatening weather forecasts, but Saturday proved a stunning exception with a great forecast and terrific jumping conditions all day long. It was the fourth and final meet of the MWSL season and was held at Skydive Chicago, who will also be hosting the USPA Nationals 2010 in less than two weeks. We had seven teams competing, three of which were making their MWSL debuts.

Did you know that Aerodyne and NSL have formed an alliance to promote Formation Skydiving? posted: Sep 1st, 2010 The Aerodyne Skydive Project has been put together by Aerodyne and the NSL to provide local events for formation skydivers on a high quality level. The project goal is to get together groups of skilled and experienced jumpers who want to make good skydives together. The approximate and flexible benchmark is set at the capability of doing 10-point skydives in a 4-way jump.
