News Article Did you know that the SDC Furies accepted the first NSL Talk invitation at the USPA Nationals 2010?
posted: Sep 11th, 2010 The NSL News used the downtime later on Saturday morning for the first NSL Talk at the USPA Nationals 2010. The SDC Furies accepted the invitation and met with NSL News reporter Kurt Gaebel when there was still a serous cloud cover over Skydive Chicago. It was apparently the right time to make a move. The NSL Talk was set up outside in the loading area, and it was also a provocation challenging the weather situation, which then improved by the minute during the NSL Talk. The sun came out when interview and discussion were over, and it will probably not be too long until the teams will be called... (more)

Canadian Chief Judge of the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010 in Menzelinsk, Rina... (more)
News Article Did you know that 54 teams at the UK Nationals 2010 were not quite enough?
posted: Sep 11th, 2010 The 54 teams at the UK Nationals 2010 was a great number and a serious challenge - but it wasn't quite enough. Sorry, Jo and UK teams, and let's try again next year... The US 4-way teams did not show any signs of economic troubles, downswing of Formation Skydiving competition or anything similar. They came out in flocks as usual and brought the number of teams at the USPA Nationals 2010 in Ottawa to 59. There was obviously a very good reason why the line at registration was long. The Skydive Chicago staff worked hard to accommodate all new arrivals on Friday evening until the opening ceremony... (more)

posted: Sep 10th, 2010 The ESL Championship 2010 is in full swing, while Friday was for registration, training and meet preparations at the USPA Nationals 2010. The first event day on Texel in the Netherlands is over, and there is great competition in each category. Three of the four Dutch AAA Class teams are racing each other and are within four points after four rounds. It is even closer in the AA Class between FWCP and Creeps. The A Class competition offers the most exciting competition, as Jo Hawley predicted in her preview. It is even more exciting to see that each competition class has currently a leader... (more)

The first competition jumps at the USPA Nationals 2010 are scheduled for Saturday. The start could be delayed by a day since the remnants of Hurricane Hermine and another weather front are heading towards Illinois. However, it is time for a preview of the US event, as well. Arizona Airspeed will celebrate its farewell event for this lineup, as Eliana Rodriguez and Craig Girard are working on their Dubai plans for the near future. Airspeed had the team's best... (more)
News Article Did you know that four teams competed for the unofficial Scandinavian championship title in Menzelinsk?
posted: Sep 8th, 2010 The NSL News mentioned the race for the unofficial Scandinavian championship title a few times during the coverage of the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010 and has not picked up this special part of the event yet. It's time to make up for the delay, which resulted in a more comprehensive evaluation of the Scandinavian history. Most of the times, the NSL News reports of teams in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden when it comes to Scandinavian topics. However, Iceland is also a Scandinavian country and has had teams that competed at World Championships of Formation Skydiving in the... (more)
