News Article Did you know that many judging calls raised eyebrows at the World Cup?
posted: Aug 15th, 2011 Bodyflight Aerodyne, the British national 4way team in the female category, was one of the teams that completed Round 10 at the World Cup 2011 and Round 1 at the UK Nationals 2011 within a week. The scores of both events are posted now, and the UK team had almost exactly the same meet averages (14.8 - 14.7) at both meets. In fact, Bodyflight Aerodyne also ended up in the same 5th place, in Germany as well as in Hibaldstow, after ten rounds at both places. There was no other British team that completed ten rounds at both events. UK's national team SonicNutz completed only nine rounds at the World... (more)
News Article Did you know that VIVA includes a 4way world champion of 1983 and an 8way world champion of 2010?
posted: Aug 14th, 2011 NSL-TV continues with the 8way coverage of the World Cup 2011. The videos of Round 2 have been uploaded, and the penalties are added to the leaderboard. Not much happened in Round 2. Aerodyne Maubeuge recovered after the 2-point loss to the Golden Knights in Round 1 and tied the US score in Round 2. All other scores were pretty much in the order of the final rankings. The Brit Chicks suffered another point deduction and were now three points behind the German team Suedwest after two rounds. This would change soon. Suedwest also lost a point in the same round, as well as Netherlands' new... (more)
News Article Did you know that the three UK teams at the World Cup compete again this weekend?
posted: Aug 13th, 2011 The teams at the French Nationals 2011 have completed Round 8, and the meet is over. The two national B-Teams, Maubeuge NPC B1 and Maubeuge NPC B2, have switched their positions on the top of the leaderboard after a faster Round 7, and so have the two teams battling for the 3rd place, Monaco Rebootizer Aerial and Air Force Nice. Round 8 brought no changes. In the meantime, the UK Nationals have started and register once again a new participation record. The 54 teams last year broke all UK records, and 55 teams this weekend in Hibaldstow make it even bigger. The United Kingdom has the USPA Nationals... (more)
News Article Did you know that the French B-Teams are still glued to each other?
posted: Aug 12th, 2011 Several teams who competed at the World Cup 2011 had to travel back home quickly and as soon as possible after the completion of the meet in Germany. National championships were on the meet schedule in France, Norway and the United Kingdom. The UK teams were not pressed so hard, as their event in Hibaldstow begins tomorrow morning. Norway's fresh bronze medalist in the female 4way category, Polaris, had to be ready for the new Round 1 in the middle of the week, as well as the French teams. Six rounds have been completed in Vichy, France, and the two national B-Teams are in the same battle that... (more)

The video features Round 1 of the teams that survived the second cut and made it to the final round, plus one more team. The German 4way team Dynamite did not make it to Round 10, despite being ahead of Sweden's national team Bardagi by one point after Round 9. Only the best six teams qualified for the final round of the World Cup, including two Russian teams. Bardagi was in 7th place but still made it to Round 10 in the European Championship where only one team per nation is eligible... (more)

posted: Aug 10th, 2011 NSL-TV now switches to the 4way competition in the female category at the World Cup 2011 and features the competition videos of all five teams in the first two rounds. Once again, the new leaderboard also includes the penalties in those two rounds and brings back to memory Round 9 in the 8way event. All female 4way teams had a clean Round 2 and lost a total of seven points in Round 1. Three of the seven point deductions were due to "camera angle / grip visibility", as the official score sheets show. Norway's national team Polaris lost the exit point, a Murphy Flake (C), and Bodyflight Aerodyne's... (more)
