News Article Did you know that Sequenz keep Danish indoor and outdoor 4-way titles united?
posted: Nov 19th, 2023 The Danish Indoor Nationals 2023 featured a new duel between the reigning national indoor and outdoor champions of Sequenz and the former national 4-way team, the VAF Warriors. The last one took place in 2021, and the civilian lineup of the CISM team won by 19 points (199 - 180). Ulrik Hogsberg had his original Sequenz team mate of 2007, Vibeke Birk Tideman, back in his lineup of 2021, together with his current team mates Flemming Borup Andersen and Hans Oksen. Vibeke Birk Tideman and Ulrik Hogsberg had reactivated Sequenz with the new lineup in 2019, after a 9-year break. They won the FAI... (more)
News Article Did you know that Julien Degen is in contention for all three medal positions at the Weembinamic 2023?
posted: Nov 17th, 2023 Weembi Unicorns did have the 5th consecutive competition with the same lineup on their schedule, as the NSL News expected it to happen after the completion of the ten indoor rounds at the British Indoor Nationals 2023. The top team on the 10-round leaderboard of the Weembinamic 2022 is back on the new AAA Class leaderboard of 2023 and in 3rd place after the four qualification rounds. The competition is stronger this year, and there will probably be a close battle for the medal positions. The situation of the host and Unicorns member, Weembi Lille's Julien Degen, is also very similar as it was... (more)
News Article Did you know that Weembi Unicorns have been world-class 4-way lineups since 2017?
posted: Nov 16th, 2023 The recent NSL News update after the completion of the British Indoor Nationals 2023 featured the NFTO reunion, which concluded with the successful defense of the British 4-way Open Class championship title. NFTO's toughest opponent on the AAA Class leaderboard was actually a guest team, and the NSL News pointed out that the competition at iFLY Manchester was also a rematch between the same two teams. The Weembi Unicorns are limited to participating in 4-way competitions that are not national championship events, or they have to sign up as a guest team with the hope that the host of the respective... News Article Did you know that Scott Latinis had a great year for himself and the Texas Skydiving League?
posted: Nov 15th, 2023 Texas Skydiving League Director Scott Latinis can look back at a very successful year for his work and his own skydiving career. He had re-activated the Texas Skydiving League in 2019, as the NSL News reported on 2 January 2019 and continued to offer the regional 4-way events to the Formation Skydiving community in Texas. The participation at his Texas Skydiving League events was not even impacted much by the corona virus crisis, not even in the year when the USPA Nationals were canceled. He established a schedule at the three Skydive Spaceland locations in Texas, San Marcos, Houston and Dallas,... (more)
News Article Did you know that NFTO won the re-match with Weembi Unicorns?
posted: Nov 14th, 2023 The highlight of the British Indoor Nationals 2023 was probably the reunion of the still reigning outdoor world champions in 4-way Women, NFTO. It was the lineup with Elizabeth Kennedy, who had joined NFTO at the end of the 2022 season, exactly the same one who won the national indoor championship a year ago. Anna Hicks, Vana Parker and Sian Stokes have been training and competing together since 2018. The NFTO 3-way won their first national 4-way AAA Class title with Catherine Anderson in 2018, and the same lineup followed up with silver medals at the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2018 and... News Article Did you know that Jazz Republic qualified as South Africa's national indoor team?
posted: Nov 13th, 2023 It does not happen very often that one single leaderboard features only exciting competition from the top to the bottom. This was the case though at the Flyspot Open 2023 where six teams engaged each other in three different 10-round duels. The NSL News covered the first two duels with the update on November 12th. The two national teams from Czech Republic and Poland, Skywalkers Junior and Flyspot Sky4Four, were separated by three points after the ten rounds. HF Chameleons and MAD Team from the same countries had the second duel for the bronze medals and needed an extra round to break their... (more)
