News Article Did you know that CSC Singularity took the lead in the A Class rankings?
posted: Jul 11th, 2024 The third June leaderboard of the NSL 4-way Network had two more teams that were not included in the NSL News updates on June 7th and on June 12th. The first update covered the scores which were already available after the meets in Great Britain and California. The second one followed up with more scores from the Czech Republic. Last and not least, two more teams from the Midwest Skydiving League area completed the third combined June leaderboard with scores and videos for the AA and A Class sequences. CSC Constellation XP and CSC Singularity both completed seven rounds in their respective... (more)
News Article Did you know that NMP PCH HayaBusa shared their CISM experiences with NSL Live Talk?
posted: Jul 10th, 2024 NMP PCH HayaBusa were still in Hungary after the dramatic finish at the CISM World Championship that the NSL News reported yesterday. The official award ceremony was scheduled for the day after the last competition round, and the successfully defending CISM world champions were available for NSL Live Talk before the conclusion of the whole event. The NSL News update after the completion of Round 8 included the fact that not only just by the numbers this year's CISM world championship was the closest one for NMP PCH HayaBusa since they won the first time in 2007 by one single point. The new NSL... (more)
News Article Did you know that NMP PCH HayaBusa turned the CISM leaderboard with three consecutive highscores?
posted: Jul 9th, 2024 All is said and done in Hungary, and NMP PCH HayaBusa won the 16th consecutive CISM World Championship title for Belgium, with probably the team's best performance of the 8-round competition. InTime's Dirk Venter, who controlled the operation of the judging system live in Hungary and is an experienced competitor and FAI Judge himself, said that HayaBusa's engineering of the last sequence made a significant difference. The Belgian's won the last round by three points over the Golden Knights with a more traditional engineering of Round 8. The sequence of Round 8 (M-Q-R-14) included Random Formation... (more)
News Article Did you know that Skywalkers Junior did not have 5 seconds before the start of working time?
posted: Jul 8th, 2024 The current weather break at the CISM World Championship in Hungary is a good opportunity to catch up with other events that happened last weekend. However, the weather was apparently not much better in Great Britain, where a total of 15 teams were present at Netheravon for the last test before the national outdoor championship in August. Only one single round could be completed at the third meet of the United Kingdom Skydiving League. The British 4-way teams had bad luck with the weather so far this year, as only three rounds were completed in May. Five rounds at the June meet were a lot compared... (more)
News Article Did you know that NMP PCH HayaBusa's David Grauwels defeated the Golden Knights in 2007?
posted: Jul 7th, 2024 The Golden Knights with their current 4-way lineup had not posted or shared any of the highscores in the first four rounds of the CISM World Championship 2024. However, they have been within striking distance to the respective leader in each of the first four rounds, until their turn came in Round 5. It was only the second time that any of the three medal contenders could outscore all opponents by more than one point. NMP PCH HayaBusa had extended their lead to five points with the 30-pointer in Round 3. The Golden Knights then won Round 5 by two points over Spain's Papea CISM lineup, who outscored... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Qatar Tigers are dealing with video troubles in Hungary?
posted: Jul 5th, 2024 NMP PCH HayaBusa keep impressing the opponents and the audience in Hungary. The situation after Round 3 now seems to resemble previous CISM World Championships, or even the time when the Belgian signature lineup of the past decade (Dennis Praet, Jeroen Nollet, David and Andy Grauwels) were dominating the world's 4-way indoor and outdoor leaderboards. The Qatar Tigers fell behind due to very serious video trouble. They already lost two points after the exit of Round 2, and the judges deducted four more points at the beginning of the sequence in Round 3. The point deductions are all the more surprising,...
