posted: Jul 22nd, 2013 The skydiving center in Prostejov, Czech Republic, host of the world cups in 2009 and 2012, and host of the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014, also held its second meet of the Czech Republic Skydiving League 2013 last weekend. The event enjoyed the presence of a prominent visitor, as DeLand Majik 4way world champion of 2004, Joey Jones, was in Prostejov for a training camp with a few of the several teams he is coaching this year. News Article Did you know that Monaco Vitalsea has a problem with fast sequences?
posted: Jul 21st, 2013 This weekend's first scores came from France where the second meet of the annual Coupe de France was held at the skydiving center in Bouloc. The French teams compete in the AAA and AA Class categories after national coach Jeremie Rollett synchronized the French intermediate class with the NSL Network last year. 13 teams competed in each of the two categories. Nemesis Espoir Saumur took the 1st place on the French leaderboard. However, any lineups with members of the French national A- or B-Teams are not eligible for Coupe de France medals, and Nemesis Espoir Saumur competed as a guest team. Damien... (more)
News Article Did you know that Maximum Ride won the 8way competition in Canada?
posted: Jul 20th, 2013 The Canadian Nationals 2013 also included an 8way and a VFS 4way competition at NouvelAir. The VFS 4way competition had two teams on the leaderboard, while seven teams attended in 8way over five rounds. Evolution's VFS lineup won easily over the Parachute Montreal instructors with a 14.7 average after six rounds, despite Martin Lemay's shoulder injury . Canada's national 8way team of 2012, Maximum Ride, was facing more opposition than Evolution in VFS 4way. News Article Did you know that Denmark had extraordinary nationals this week?
posted: Jul 19th, 2013 Denmark held the national 4way championships beginning earlier this week, and the 10-round meet was completed within two days. Correspondent Kjetil Nordin said that this has not happened in a long time in Denmark. Unfortunately, the weather cooperated only for the competition. The two days of planned training before the meet were winded out. Kjetil Nordin said that the winds continued to blow throughout the competition, however, the conditions were jumpable according to the Danish rules. News Article Did you know that a British - Irish AA Class duel keeps both teams on the top?
posted: Jul 18th, 2013 The 4way teams from the United Kingdom did it once again and took all four top positions on last weekend's overall leaderboard. It was the third time this year that UK teams mixed up with teams from other countries and won all four NSL categories in May, June and July. There were only two teams in each of the AAA and AA categories at Skydive Northwest on the Cark Airfield last weekend. However, Nuevo (AAA) and Anti Gravity Ninja Swans (AA) won the first two top spots for the United Kingdom. The UK event had the biggest participation in the A Class where eight teams had signed up. News Article Did you know that Evolution members won the first three places at the Canadian Nationals 2013?
posted: Jul 17th, 2013 The 4way competition at the Canadian Nationals 2013 is over, and the national lineups for the 2014 season are Evolution in the Open Class and Fuzion in the female category. Both teams will represent Canada at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving next year in Prostejov. Evolution did not have any serious competition in Canada. However, team founder and father Michel Lemay had to come back and step in for his son Martin Lemay who is nursing his shoulder injury.
