Thunder may not have very serious competition in the AAA Class at the upcoming ISR Grand Prix 2013, however, the perspectives for great battles next year are very promising.
It seems as if an extension of the race between Thunder and Russia's 4way team Sportloto for the unofficial status as the world's best amateur team is in the works.

Did you know that Sunny Wind continues with an extended lineup? posted: Oct 17th, 2013 The Sun Path Products NSL News had introduced a new Russian 4way team project with the story on 25 October 2012. Sunny Wind was a combination of two teams (Wild Wind - Sunny Heaven) who appeared on previous NSL leaderboards and started with a training camp in DeLand last fall.
Sunny Wind is another Russian example where a sponsor or two join forces with very experienced 4way or 8way competitors to advance their skills and enjoy 4way competition. The Sunny Wind lineup includes Vladimir Ostanin, who is one of the most experienced Russian competitors in history.

Did you know that Dubai Asaar is still three points ahead of China? posted: Oct 16th, 2013 The latest scores on the NSL leaderboard have arrived from Asia. China hosted this year's continental championship, which is called Asiana. Dubai's Formation Skydiving head coach and former Arizona Airspeed 4way and 8way world champion Craig Girard mentioned during the USPA Nationals 2013 that this event was coming up and that his Dubai Asaar Black lineup would compete in China.

Did you know that the ISR Grand Prix 2013 has new record participation more than a month before Round 1? posted: Oct 15th, 2013 There is still more than a month of time before the ISR Grand Prix 2013 begins in Roosendaal, and the event is already ahead of last year's record participation. 48 teams competed in 2012, and 50 teams are registered at this point in time. The number of teams is limited to a total of 60, and there are two more weeks until registration closes.

Did you know that the ZeBone 4way project started in 2005? posted: Oct 14th, 2013 The Sun Path Products NSL News has not completed the coverage of the USPA Nationals 2013 yet. One of the many missing pieces is USPA's Advanced Class competition.
This category actually applies exactly the same FAI/IPC rules and dive pool for the Open Class and still has its separate leaderboard.
Teams can choose which category they want to sign up for, except for the reigning Advanced Class champions. The USPA Competition Manual defines the specifics:

Did you know that BJ Worth expects the pinnacle of Kaleidoscope Dives this year? posted: Oct 13th, 2013 The first preview of this year's Kaleidoscope Dives at SkyQuest 2013 introduced the new FAI/IPC rules for bigway world records on 23 September 2013.
The next SkyQuest update on 4 October 2013 included the dive design that World Team founder BJ Worth created for this year's event in November.
The registration is in full swing, and bigway experts from all over the planet will once again travel to DeLand.
