posted: Jul 17th, 2015 The second Coupe de France competition this year included once again an 8-way competition that three teams attended in Vannes. Three 8-way teams had also competed at the first event in Bouloc in May, and two of them came back to finish off the Coupe de France 2015 before the national championships conclude the national competition season in France in mid-August. The French national 8-way team does not compete at the Coupe de France events and will meet the Golden Knights at the World Cup in September. posted: Jul 16th, 2015 The Sun Path Products NSL News previews of Denmark's national championship on May 5th, May 20th and recently on July 4th seemed to promise a battle for the country's 4-way top spot. The 10-round competition was completed yesterday, and it lived up to the expectations. The old and new 4-way champion and national team, VAF Warriors, was pushed more than any other Danish top team in the past and needed a peak performance to fend off the two challengers, Pangaea and Prime Pickles. posted: Jul 15th, 2015 The teams of the Southern Skydiving League had the complete overall leaderboard for themselves last weekend, before a probably very large one will follow up in three days. However, the competition at the Chattanooga Skydiving Company featured a very exciting battle for the 1st place in the AA Class between Platinum and Southern Mix. Both teams had also competed at the SSL June meet, where Platinum had finished with exactly the same meet average and exactly the same lineup, but without much opposition. posted: Jul 14th, 2015 The Sun Path Products NSL News posted the latest TURNING POINTS column in BLUE SKIES MAG's July edition on July 11th. Topic was the official introduction of a new indoor competition class by the International Parachuting Committee (IPC) of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI), the 4-way Junior category. News Article Did you know that Russia sends a strong delegation to the World Cup in Teuge?
posted: Jul 13th, 2015 The Formation Skydiving delegation from Russia in the three traditional categories (4-way Open, 4-way Women, 8-way Open) at the FAI World Cups consisted of five teams in 2009 and 2011, even though there were different combinations. Four Russian teams competed in 4-way Open at the World Cup 2009 in Prostejov, together with one 8-way team, while there was no Russian participation in 4-way Women. Two years later in Germany, Russia had at least one team in each of the three categories (2-1-2). Then the Russian delegation became even larger in Banja Luka in 2013 (3-1-3). This year's Russian... News Article Did you know that the Heartbeat Skydive Team are "young and fun loving guys who have a lot of ambition and potential"?
posted: Jul 12th, 2015 The scores of this year's Tomscat Trophy included two Rookie Class teams from the Netherlands, who represented their country well on a very busy overall leaderboard on the June 20 weekend. A total of 16 Rookie Class teams competed at five different locations, and the best Dutch team, the Heartbeat Skydive Team, finished in 4th place with a 7.6 average after the eight rounds in the Netherlands.
