Did you know that AtomiX YUU starts the 2017 preparations with a new inside center? posted: Oct 30th, 2016 The 2016 season competition is hardly over, while the preparations for next year are beginning. It happens earlier in regions where the weather does not allow much skydiving in the fall/winter season.
Germany's competition season is usually over after the national championships, which took place at the end of August, even though some of the teams still attend outdoor meets later on. Germany's national teams (Airbus 4-way and 8-way, Skymix) competed at the FAI Mondial 2016, and AtomiX YUU won the AAA Class competition at the ESL Championship 2016 at the beginning of October.

Did you know that Kurt Isenbarger retires at the end of a very successful year? posted: Oct 29th, 2016 The USPA National Skydiving Championships of Formation Skydiving are not over when the traditional events are completed. 16-way and 10-way Speed competitions follow right after the 10-round meets in 4-way and 8-way.
The two top spots have been reserved for Arizona Airspeed and Golden Knights for many years. Both teams have to extend their lineups and invite other Formation Skydiving competitors to fill the open slots. Both events are still very competitive, and there is a serious medal count at the end of the Formation Skydiving championships.

There is a topic that is almost as important as the adventures of the Fun Flag, and sometimes the stories of both topics even connect.
The team videographers are usually not getting a lot of attention behind their cameras, even though running a Formation Skydiving competition would simply be impossible without them. There is more to it than just the fact that the sport completely depends on presenting the freefall footage visually... (more)

Did you know that Round 6 has a very fast 8-way sequence for tomorrow? posted: Oct 25th, 2016 The 4-way competition at the USPA Nationals 2016 was completed without any surprises and extra jump-off rounds.

The first seven rounds of the meet on Monday with three very fast sequences (47 - 39 - 37) had produced a 30.1 average, which was reduced to 26.5 by the 18-average of the last three rounds and still enough to beat NMP PCH HayaBusa's 26.2 average at the FAI Mondial 2016.
