Did you know that the last July weekend is the showdown for Germany's new Airbus 8-way team? posted: Jun 8th, 2018 The story of the new German 8-way team on its possible way to Australia continues, while the team keeps working on the 13.0 qualification requirement that was set by the German skydiving federation (DFV).
The NSL News introduced the team on 8 January 2018 and followed up with more details of the qualification requirements on 14 May 2018.
The new Airbus lineup, with three members of the German 8-way team at the last world meet, the FAI Mondial, was hoping that the German federation would bring back the required 8-way average to 12.5 as it was at the German Nationals 2017. The federation lifted... (more)
Did you know that the Indoor Cloud League 12+ leaderboard features the next tie for May? posted: Jun 8th, 2018 It is no news that the results on both leaderboards of the Indoor Cloud League have become closer and closer month by month. However, the 12+ leaderboard has recently been featuring something that resembles a normal 10-round competition between a few teams on the same performance level.
It began actually already in January when the two teams of the Northern California Skydiving League, one at iFLY SF Bay and the other one at iFLY Sacramento, were separated by only one single point (102 - 101).

Did you know that Paraclete XP allowed the Hurricane Factory to add 27 points to the 2018 lead? posted: Jun 6th, 2018 It did not take very long until the next set of Indoor Cloud League scores were ready to be posted. The latest update added the May scores and videos of the 4-way powerhouse at Paraclete XP to the 14+ leaderboard.
The Paraclete team was once again spearheaded by the U.S. national team in 4-way Women, Phoenix XP, who posted the two scores for the two 4-way Open Class sequences, the slot switcher in the AAA Class and the 5-point sequence in the AA Class.

Did you know that iFLY Seattle has turned the table in the 8-year duel with Florida's Indoor Cloud League teams? posted: Jun 6th, 2018 The leaderboards of the Indoor Cloud League's May competition are not complete yet, as the participating teams can still use the last days of each month to submit new and improve previously posted scores. The first days of the new month are usually the time when the final processing of videos and judging takes place.
However, the May scores and videos of the two longest standing ICL teams, Northwest Skydiving League (iFLY Seattle) and Florida Skydiving League (iFLY Orlando/iFLY Tampa), have been posted, together with the Czech May results from the Hurricane Factory. Both leaderboards will be... (more)
Did you know that David Ricard was filming the new French team record average in 4-way Open? posted: Jun 5th, 2018 French national coach Mathieu Bernier and his 4-way Open Class team, Aerodyne Realfly, were just as happy with the performance at the Coupe de France May competition in Pamiers as the Aerodyne Weembi Girls in 4-way Women.
This time it was videographer David Ricard who was filming the new 25.7 team record average. He is new on camera for the 4-way Open Class team. Olivier Henaff was filming the team in 2015, and Loic Campy took over in 2016, including the bronze medal performance at the FAI Mondial at Skydive Chicago.

Did you know that HF eX3MO and Amnesya will battle for the tickets to Australia in August? posted: Jun 3rd, 2018 The NSL News story on 12 January 2018 reported bad news from Italy after the Italian AeroClub had officially announced that there will be no national championships this year, and the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2018 would have no team from Italy compete in Australia. This would be the first world meet since 1985 without an Italian 4-way team:
"No team from Italy will be sanctioned to attend any FAI events due to the lack of government in the institution. This statement applies to all aeronautic sports in Italy, not only to skydiving competition."
