Did you know that the QRF XONR8 indoor experts left Airbus 8-way behind in Berlin? posted: Feb 9th, 2025 The NSL News reported on January 31st that a new pursuit of FAI 8-way bronze medals could once again begin in Germany, where Operation Adler and Airbus Oceanside Illertissen prepare to battle for the status of the country's national champions and the national team. Operation Adler won the bronze medals for Germany at the 26th FAI World Formation Skydiving Championships, while Airbus 8-way would have done the same, according to the performance level of both teams.

Did you know that it's still a long way to French outdoor gold in 2026? posted: Feb 7th, 2025 The NSL News headline on February 3rd stated that France has taken back the world's 4-way top spot, which was factually related to the dominating performance and the 1st place at the Wind Games 2025.
However, winning a 4-way competition is only a temporary accomplishment, even if it is happening at one of the larger events. Traditionally, the world's top spot in Formation Skydiving competition is the winner of the FAI Outdoor World Championship, which is taking place every other year, taking turns with the bi-annual FAI World Cup.

Did you know that Michelle Karamon and Niklas Hemlin talked about Tunnel Vision? posted: Feb 6th, 2025 The NSL News covered some of the highlights at the Wind Games 2025 earlier this week. The battle between NMP PCH HayaBusa and Tunnel Vision, with the tie-breaking extra round at the end, was the main topic on February 3rd. Belgian team captain Dennis Praet provided details of this duel during the NSL Live Talk conversation the same day, shortly after returning from Spain.
He was impressed with his own team's progression during the training week before and the resilience under pressure, which was eventually rewarded with the 2nd place after the extra round.

Did you know that Tunnel Vision and Golden Knights provided a preview of the U.S. indoor nationals? posted: Feb 4th, 2025 The battle between NMP PCH HayaBusa and new U.S. indoor team Tunnel Vision, including an extra round to break the tie after Round 10, took all the attention at the Wind Games. The French winners, Aethers Medjay, at least received the deserved attention due to the highly impressive performance level and by arguably taking over the top position in the 4-way world.
However, even the confirmation of the new power situation on the world's top level was not a big surprise for the formation skydiving competition community, as it was already expected to happen before the Wind Games eventually generated... (more)
Did you know that NMP PCH HayaBusa's Dennis Praet himself was surprised by his team? posted: Feb 3rd, 2025 The leaderboard of the Wind Games 2025 was speaking its own language to a certain extent. Aethers Medjay on the very top did not require much explanation, even though the 33-point lead after Round 10 was probably more than expected in the formation skydiving competition community.
National coach Mathieu Bernier knew that his team had the head-start into the 2025 season, compared to other potential contenders for the world's 4-way top position, with the exception of the Golden Knights, who starting training and competing together with the same lineup in July 2023. Did you know that France has taken back the world's 4-way top spot? posted: Feb 3rd, 2025 The Wind Games 2025 were completed on Saturday and offered the exciting competition that was expected. The 4-way world has turned the way it only makes sense, with the French Aethers Medjay taking the top position. However, the takeover and the new power situation between the world's best 4-way teams were even more dramatic than expected.
The NSL Power Rankings in the preview on January 26th were showing the French national team in 4-way Open, Aethers Medjay, in 1st place without any other contenders for the top spot. The exciting battle would take place behind the world's new top team.
