Did you know that Sinapsi PD got trapped in the change of the event cycle? posted: Jul 3rd, 2005 The last NSL News story covering the eligibility status of Pete Allum and the Italian national 4-way team Sinapsi PD was posted on June 14. The story included links to previous articles on the same topic.
Not much has changed in the meantime. As reported, the Italian Aeroclub has filed an appeal to the official FAI/IPC decision, while the team has continued with the original plans. These plans included Sinapsi's attendance at the Malevsky Memorial Cup 2005. The Italian team has already been at the competition site in Russia for a week and is ready for the first round tomorrow morning.

Did you know that the defending Malevsky Cup champions are watching the competition from the ground position? posted: Jul 2nd, 2005 Doug Park has been the engine of the reigning 4-way world champion DeLand Majik since 2002. He won the gold medal at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving in Croatia 2004 with the original line-up of the early Majik years, and he is still in the driver's seat of the Inside Center position with the new Majik line-up, including Solly Williams, David VanGreuningen and Robert Healy.

Did you know that Round one of the SSL June meet is now on NSL-TV? posted: Jul 2nd, 2005 The weather in Russia is much better today and beats the actual forecast. In fact, the drop zone in Stupino is very busy as most of the teams try to make up for the missed training opportunities in the previous days. Saturday and Sunday are the last days for training before the competition will begin on Monday.
However, the NSL office in Russia managed to squeeze in a new round of NSL-TV before the coverage of the Malevsky Memorial Cup 2005 will get the full and only attention of the NSL News. Southwest Skydiving League Director Pamela Stevens and Jana Parker, meet director at the last SSL meet... (more)
Did you know that the weather does not allow much training in Russia so far? posted: Jul 1st, 2005 The NSL News office has successfully relocated to Russia, and any updates in the next two weeks will come directly from the competition site of the Malevsky Memorial Cup 2005.
Teams, competitors and officials were picked up at the Moscow airport and then shuttled to either a hotel in downtown Moscow or the resort hotel at the competition site. Several Malevsky Cup participants decided to stay in Moscow for a few days before traveling to the final destination in Stupino.

Did you know that there is enough new NSL-TV footage to cover the time of the NSL News trip to Russia? posted: Jun 28th, 2005 The NSL-TV page has grown significantly in the last two days. The updates began with the coverage of the last Florida Skydiving League competition at Skydive City on the June 18 meet weekend. Round one was the fastest sequence of the NSL 2005 season with random formations only (N-C-Q-E-D) for all competition classes. (more)
Did you know that the first NSL scores of last weekend's events are from Carolina? posted: Jun 28th, 2005 The scores of the European Skydiving League came in much faster last weekend and were mostly posted already during the meet activities across the ocean.
