posted: Mar 16th, 2024 The unfortunate personnel change in the French Aethers lineup, due to Tom Mattoni's injury, seems to have a slight impact on the performance and scoring level, as it had to be expected. Alternate and substitute Mathieu Bernier at least helps to keep the team at approximately a similar distance to Arizona Airspeed as the complete Aethers lineup had it last time at the 23rd FAI World Cup of Formation Skydiving. Airspeed were 12 points ahead of Aethers after Round 6 in Norway, and the distance was 21 points at the end of the first competition day at the Shamrock Showdown 2024. Round 1 initiated... (more)

posted: Mar 14th, 2024 Round 1 of the Shamrock Showdown 2024 is only one day away, and Thursday was a busy training and warm-up day at Skydive DeLand. The competition draw in the evening was the last step before the start of the competition on Friday morning. Arizona Airspeed and France Aethers will be in the first load of the competition together, and a new colorful Teiwaz lineup joins the world's currently two best teams in the same Twin Otter. posted: Mar 13th, 2024 Tom Mattoni is back in France where the medical examination is waiting and the rehabilitation begins. National coach Mathieu Bernier is taking his outside center slot, and he is also using his jumpsuit. Mathieu Bernier is not only a 4-way and 8-way world champion and will fill the slot adequately. He has also selected the current lineup and guided the Aethers to the highest level in horizontal 4-way Formation Skydiving competition. News Article Did you know that Mathieu Bernier is back in action for the French national team?
posted: Mar 12th, 2024 Round 1 of the Shamrock Showdown 2024 is only three days away, and the French national teams in 4-way Open (Aethers) and 4-way Women (Nephtys) are both in full training swing at Skydive DeLand, with supervision by their national coach Mathieu Bernier. They had completed over 30 training jumps on their third day at Skydive DeLand and had two more days on the agenda before taking a break on Wednesday. News Article Did you know that Operation Adler won the next part of Germany's 8-way duel?
posted: Mar 11th, 2024 The next part of the German 8-way story came to its conclusion last weekend when Operation Adler and Airbus Oceanside Illertissen were facing each other in competition for the second time. Operation Adler was formed for the German Outdoor Nationals 2023 and upset the former national 8-way team, Airbus, after the ten rounds at the Fallschirmsportzentrum Saar in August/September last year. Originally, Operation Adler had no long-term plans to compete for Germany at the next outdoor world championship, however, they began to consider the options after winning the outdoor qualification. News Article Did you know that two Indoor Cloud League teams from Dallas competed at Paraclete XP?
posted: Mar 11th, 2024 The Indoor Cloud League team from iFLY Dallas was once again well represented at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2024. Kyle Hermberg brought two teams to Paraclete XP, which consisted of lineups with current and former ICL Dallas participants. In fact, all team members of Aeroworx and Racoon Sky Pirates were in the iFLY Dallas team that posted the highscores for the January sequences of the Indoor Cloud League, with only one exception, and ICL organizer Kyle Hermberg competed with both teams at Paraclete XP.
