News Article Did you know that the next Top 4 showdown in Voss promises a much closer finish?
posted: Jun 6th, 2023 The list of currently registered teams for the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2023 in Voss, Norway, is far from completion at this point in time. The deadline for official entry is July 8th, and late registration is possible until August 1st. Round 1 in Formation Skydiving competition is scheduled for August 22nd. Several teams have confirmed their participation in this year's second FAI/ISC event, and the first preview with NSL Power Rankings is showing the same four 4-way Open medal contenders in the latest ranking order after the FAI Indoor World Championship 2023. However, indoor and outdoor competition... (more)
News Article Did you know that Flying Rebels and Chameleons came back together for Indoor Cloud League May sequences?
posted: Jun 2nd, 2023 The members of the two former Czech junior teams, HF Flying Rebels and HF Chameleons, have known each other and trained together for a long time. Both teams still have original members in their current lineups who started in Jan Klapka's 4-way junior school of 2017. Denisa Jeziakova and Krystof Rulf have trained and competed together with the Flying Rebels ever since and now won the world's 4-way junior championship title at the FAI Indoor World Championship 2023. Krystyna Cejkova and Filip Lukavec started with the Chameleons in 2017 and are probably the second best 4-way junior team in the... (more)
News Article Did you know that a very strong U.S. delegation travels to Norway in August?
posted: Jun 1st, 2023 FAI World Cups of Formation Skydiving usually do not offer the same competitive level as the FAI World Championships do, even though all participating countries may register more teams (up to four) than only one national team in each event. The U.S. delegation has never missed any of the three horizontal events (4-way Open, 8-way Open, 4-way Women) at outdoor world championships since 1985. However, there have not been many U.S. teams at the outdoor world cups in the same time period. In fact, complete U.S. delegations posted scores only in the same three FS events when the outdoor world... (more)
News Article Did you know that the most improved teams battled in the lower half of the 4-way Women leaderboard?
posted: May 31st, 2023 The most improved teams in 4-way Women at the FAI Indoor World Championship 2023 finished in the lower half of the leaderboard, disregarding the world-class performances of the French Nephtys and XPG4 in the top spots. The indoor lineup of the French national team in 4-way Women was not the same as ever before. In fact, national coach Mathieu Bernier had managed to put this unique lineup together just a few months before Round 1 at the Hurricane Factory Tatralandia in Slovakia. XPG4 had more consistency in their lineup for the event, after spending the entire 2022 season together. Jeana Billings... (more)
News Article Did you know that Lithuania's Magic 4 won the next Flyspot Liga competition?
posted: May 30th, 2023 4-way teams in Poland completed the next ten competition rounds of their Flyspot Liga, this time without the national team in 4-way Open, Flyspot Sky4Four. The unusual absence of the strongest Polish 4-way team in the past years allowed the other AAA Class teams to compete for the top spot at the May meet. MAD Team and Flyspot Omega have been going through the four NSL categories (AAA - AA - A - RRR) together since 2017 until they both began posting scores on the AAA Class leaderboards in 2021. MAD Team had the upper hand at the Flyspot Open 2021 (194 - 184), Flyspot Omega at the Flyspot Open... (more)

The NSL News turn to 4-way training and competition Down Under began with the scores of the national outdoor championship, where Ripper won their second 4-way title and the qualification for the next outdoor world championship in Israel 2024. Ripper had competed for Australia at the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2022 in Eloy and plan to travel to Israel next year, as well. Whitefish will put Australia on the outdoor... (more)
