posted: Mar 7th, 2024 Norway's national indoor championship last weekend brought the original lineup of the DeLand Norgies back together. It was in July 2017 when this happened the last time at the national outdoor championship, and they won without serious opposition. It was two years before original Norgies member Carl-Erik Tuv initiated a new team project that generated the current national teams, Agera in 4-way Open and Thyra in 4-way Women. The Norgies continued their annual reunions after the pandemic and with different variations of the lineups. They defended the national 4-way outdoor title one more time... (more)

The Belgian team had still won the silver medals at the 25th FAI World Formation Skydiving Championships 2022, where France finished in 4th place behind the Qatar Tigers. In fact, the placing order in Norway in August was exactly the same as it was at Skydive DeLand in March. Arizona Airspeed and France will copy their schedule of 2023 and launch their... (more)

News Article Did you know that the Golden Knights 4-way team is currently training in Florida?
posted: Jan 28th, 2024 The Golden Knights 4-way and 8-way teams have traditionally conducted their outdoor winter camps in Florida, sometimes in South Florida, sometimes in Central Florida. The current agenda of the U.S. Army's Competition Team, now supported again by command and management, resumed the tradition, and the 4-way team traveled to Skydive City, where they are in the middle of their winter camp. They brought their coach, Arizona Airspeed's Niklas Hemlin, to Florida to continue the work that he has started with the new lineup. It was coincidence that GKXP8 members Jeana Billings and Kirk Verner happened... (more)
