News Article Did you know that the Florida Skydiving League is gaining momentum with iFLY Tunnel Kickers and Indoor Cloud League events?
posted: May 22nd, 2014 The May meet of the Florida Skydiving League was not only a Rookie Class competition between DeLand 3D and DeLand Aurai, which the Sun Path Products NSL News reported on 18 May 2014. In fact, there were FSL teams in each of the four traditional categories who represented the oldest league in NSL 4way history on last weekend's overall leaderboard, including the 1st place in the Rookie Class. It has been a very long time since more than nine teams competed for the Florida Skydiving League at a competition of the regular season. The Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship, formerly known as Shamrock... (more)
News Article Did you know that DeLand 3D and DeLand Aurai competed for the first time?
posted: May 18th, 2014 The teams of the Florida Skydiving League were much luckier with the weather this weekend, while it was the other way around in the Czech Republic. The meet in Pribram was canceled due to bad weather, and the Czech teams will have to wait until mid June for the next outdoor competition. In the meantime, the Skydive Arena has taken back the Indoor Cloud League top spot for May. Jan Klapka replaced the unfortunate 16-pointer of his Bad Boys with a 20-pointer that the HF Chicks scored earlier for the AA Class sequence. The additional four points placed the Skydive Arena one point ahead of iFLY... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Florida teams competed only on creepers last weekend?
posted: Apr 21st, 2014 The outdoor season opener of the Florida Skydiving League had to be postponed for a month. The weather at Skydive City and Skydive DeLand was equally unsupportive, and the first meet of the regular FSL season will hopefully take place with better weather in May. Five teams were ready to post their first 2014 scores at Skydive City, while additional teams planned to compete in DeLand. The 5-team field in Zephyrhills included many of the Tunnel Kicker participants who have been posting scores for Florida's Indoor Cloud League account at iFLY Orlando month by month. The AA Class competition... (more)
News Article Did you know that Round 2 brought the conclusion of the Z-Scrambles 2014?
posted: Feb 5th, 2014 The coverage of the first part of the Z-Scrambles 2014 at Skydive City on 1 February 2014 featured all teams with their first of the two competition rounds. Several requests for a review option of the second round were sent to the Sun Path Products NSL News, and the videos of Round 2 are now available on NSL-TV. Team Craig posted the highscore for the round with a 13-pointer, which lifted this scrambled lineup (Craig Sagelow, Rebecca Stares, Ryan Taylor, Kevin Lynch) from the 8th place after Round 1 to the bronze medal position. Team captain Craig Sagalow has been guiding teams through the Z-Scrambles... (more)
News Article Did you know that former Rhythm candidate Gilles Dutrisac was out of luck again at Skydive City?
posted: Feb 1st, 2014 The Z-Scrambles 2014 at Skydive City brought together once again the local and regional skydivers who are interested in enjoying a fun day of casual 4way competition in Zephyrhills. This year, the popular event also included many participants of Florida's Indoor Cloud League group who meet regularly at iFLY Orlando to improve their individual skills and meet like-minded skydivers and 4way fans. Skydive City has grown a solid foundation of 4way competitors who put together more and more teams year by year. Each Z-Scrambles lineup included at least one team member who is also a part of the... News Article Did you know that the Indoor Cloud League scores for January are closer than ever?
posted: Jan 31st, 2014 The Florida Skydiving League group at iFLY Orlando just improved their total score for the Indoor Cloud League sequences of January 2014 significantly on Wednesday night and still could not catch up with the Czech group at the Skydive Arena. It became even worse for Florida when the scores from iFLY Seattle came in a day later, as Deb Correia's Northwest Skydiving League group tied the highest total score for the 1st place in January. It's a completely new situation in the Indoor Cloud League competition where the teams from iFLY Orlando and iFLY Seattle started with a duel. Even when other... (more)
