Did you know that Texas Skydiving League teams posted record scores at season finals? posted: Oct 13th, 2005 The Texas Skydiving League held the very last competition of the regular 2005 season with its championship event at Skydive Spaceland last weekend. The weather was not very supportive, however, TSL Director Ryan Smith and the dz staff managed to complete five rounds when the conditions were good enough for a while.

Did you know that NSL SkyVenture Orlando Competition results have finally caught up? posted: Aug 31st, 2005 The NSL SkyVenture Orlando Competition results of two more meet weekends are now available. This update completes all NSL meets of the regular season. Only the scores of the NSL Playoffs 2005 weekend on August 20 - 21 still need to be processed before the results after handicap can be posted and the certificates get on the way to Perris.
Southwest Skydiving League teams were the big winners of the meet weekend on July 30, 2005, and won each competition class after handicap, except the Rookie Class. The new Austrian national team FILA posted the highest average after four rounds (18.0), however,... (more)
Did you know that twelve teams competed at the TSL season opener? posted: May 26th, 2005 Once again the Texas Skydiving League has started off the year with a stellar meet. Skydive Spaceland hosted the first 2005 meet on May 21st and 22nd. The 4-way meet ran all six rounds on Saturday without a hitch. There were 12 teams in attendance with an expanded participation in the Rookie Class and more dropzones represented this year than in any previous year. The AAA Class had returning champions Dallas Thunder, as well as Dallas Blunder, Arizona Direct and the all female team, Method.

Did you know that Texas teams won the last SkyVenture tunnel time of the regular 2004 season? posted: Nov 11th, 2004 The NSL SkyVenture Competition of the 2004 season is almost at its end. The teams of the Texas Skydiving League concluded the regular 2004 season on October 30. The last tunnel certificates before the NSL Championship 2004 went to Touch N Go for the first place in the AAA Class of the Texas Skydiving League. Six teams competed in the AAA Class that weekend at Skydive Spaceland and guaranteed 30 free SkyVenture tunnel minutes for Touch N Go. The AAA Class winner finished the 2004 season with the team's record average (8.5 - 9.0 - 9.0 - 9.8 - 13.7) and ended up far ahead of the TSL AAA Class field.... (more)
Did you know that Sherry "Doc" Dodson wrote the final TSL meet story? posted: Nov 4th, 2004 The fifth and final meet of the Texas Skydiving League 2004 season was held October 30th-31st. For the second time this year, Skydive Spaceland hosted a highly efficient meet. This meet had 12 teams in attendance with most of the usual suspects and a few new faces. The AAA Class was made up of Dallas Thunder, Touch–N-Go, Dallas Tantrum and Mischief. Dallas Cyclone and SHEK were in attendance as guest teams for the AAA Class. In the AA Class, Avalanche, Pinky V, 4 of a Kind, and 4 Fun were all once again in attendance from across Texas. Funnel U was in town from Dallas for the rookies. A guest... (more)
Did you know that Texas completed the 2004 season with the fastest draw and the highest scores? posted: Nov 2nd, 2004 Twelve teams competed at the fifth and last meet of the Texas Skydiving League 2004 season. The event was also the TSL Championship 2004 and the last competition of all leagues in the country this year. Only the NSL Championship at SkyQuest 2004 is still to come on November 19 - 21 at Fantasy of Flight.
The TSL teams received a warm welcome at Skydive Spaceland with the fastest competition draw of the 2004 season. The six rounds included two rounds with only random formations and another round with Block 9 (CatAcc - CatAcc) plus three random formations. This competition draw was a perfect opportunity... (more)
