Did you know that the ArchRivals are the most improved MWSL team?
posted: Aug 17th, 2010 SDC Rhythm XP received special attention after posting a 21.2 average at last weekend's third meet of the Midwest Skydiving League 2010 season. The NSL News also provided earlier Rhythm videos with the story on 15 August 2010. The same story did not cover the other scores and teams at the same event. MWSL Director Alan Butt now followed up with a more detailed meet report that pointed out as one of the highlights the most improved team of the meet, the new Rookie Class competitors of the ArchRivals. Did you know that there are two different leaderboards this weekend?
posted: Aug 15th, 2010 The record participation at the UK Nationals 2010, with the re-match between Satori and Team Bodyflight after the first UK showdown at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010, has been dominating the NSL Leaderboard this weekend. However, there is another leaderboard of the same weekend that offers additional scores. The UK Nationals 2010 had its own competition draw, which was celebrated live before the beginning of the meet and done manually. The usual NSL competition draw for the weekend brought together the teams from Norway, Brazil and the Midwest Skydiving League. This leaderboard... (more)

Did you know that there is 4-way excitement in the Midwest?
posted: Jul 13th, 2010 Last weekend's leaderboard is complete, as the scores from the Northern Plains have now been added. 49 teams competed, and the situation has not changed much. The teams from the United Kingdom are still on the top in all competition classes. However, one team from the Northern Plains squeezed its name into the Top 3 positions on the front page and denied the complete UK sweep. HTH took the second place in the AA Class by one point over the UK team Sirius. Six of the 49 teams attended the second meet of the Midwest Skydiving League. Did you know that the MWSL season opener featured competition in all four categories?
posted: Jun 27th, 2010 It was déjà vu time at Skydive Chicago as some of the stormiest weather of the year hit Northern Illinois the night before our MWSL meet. But the weather settled down enough to get most of the season opener in before the wind caused some teams to have to end their meet early. Eight teams, conveniently enough two in each NSL competition class, were on hand for the meet. The field included nationally ranked SDC Rhythm XP, MWSL veterans SDC Furies and Just4Fun as well as some teams competing for the first time. Did you know that the MWSL teams are ready for the season opener?
posted: Jun 18th, 2010 The next multi-event weekend is coming up, with teams competing at seven different locations. Two teams from the Midwest Skydiving League have the rare opportunity to compete two weeks in a row at the same DZ. SDC Rhythm XP and SDC Furies both competed at the weather plagued inaugural Midway Battle last weekend, together with three other AAA Class teams. Several other teams of the Midwest Skydiving League will now launch their 2010 season at the Midwest Skydiving League 2010 season opener, once again hosted by Skydive Chicago. Did you know that the Furies story goes back to the MWSL 2003 season?
posted: Sep 15th, 2009 The FAI World Cup 2009 and then the ESL Championship 2009 received recently the most attention of the NSL News, and it was obviously worth it. Both events featured great competition and scores. However, other events happened at the same time. The last meet of the Northern Plains Skydiving League took place on the September 4 weekend and while the World Cup was finishing up the last two rounds. NPSL Director Sandy Grillet called his true 4-way community together one more time, and almost everybody came to celebrate the end of the NPSL 2009 season.
