However, she was not alone in achieving this double in 2025. SOAR won the British outdoor championship with the same lineup as in 2024, while NFTO competed without Sian Stokes at the indoor championship in November. Her SOAR
teammate Pete Allum filled the open tail slot that he also flies for SOAR, and together they won both British 4-way titles last year.
The 2025 season turned out to be a 4-way Open Class year for three members of the 4-way Women world champion team from Eloy 2022. NFTO members Anna Lea, Vana Parker, and Julia Swallow had already recruited Pete Allum for the 4-way Open Class competition at the FAI Indoor World Championship 2025, where they finished in 5th place, tied with Amnesya FLY X. NFTO’s 26.1 average at Paraclete XP in April 2025 would have tied XP4 for 3rd place on the 4-way Women leaderboard, where China and Nephtys won gold and silver.

Pete Allum spent the 2025 season competing with both NFTO and SOAR and trains and competes only with SOAR in 2026. Meanwhile, his SOAR teammates Sarah Ashworth and Julia Swallow joined NFTO’s Anna Lea and Vana Parker for the indoor world cup at Weembi Lille. The focus is now back on outdoor training and competition with SOAR,
with the British Outdoor Nationals at the end of the month and, ultimately, the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2026 in October approaching. The British Indoor Nationals in November could provide an opportunity for further lineup changes, although the complete SOAR lineup has yet to compete together at an indoor event.
Pete Allum will compete at the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2026 as the longest-standing active formation skydiving competitor, and he may set a new record for the longest active career at FAI World Championships in Eloy. His most recent FAI outdoor world championship appearance was a decade ago, at Skydive Chicago 2016, where he competed with Satori XL and finished 7th with a 21.0 average.

Pete Allum started competing in 8-way in 1985, at the first outdoor world championship of modern formation skydiving held under the current format. This year, 41 years after his first world championship appearance in Mali Lošinj, Yugoslavia, he will compete once again in 4-way. He was 21 years old at his first outdoor world championship in 1985. The British 8-way team went on to compete at the next two world meets, achieving their best result at Empuriabrava 1989, where
they finished 4th.
The British 8-way team finished 7th in 1985 with a 6.4 average. Now, Pete Allum will return to Eloy for another 4-way outdoor world championship, with his team expected to be one of the top contenders for the unofficial amateur world championship title and potentially a 20-point average or higher. At least Pete Allum and Julia Swallow are likely aiming for the 21.0 average level that Satori XL achieved ten years ago. There is a very good reason why the International Skydiving Museum welcomed him into its Hall of Fame in 2022, 20 years after the first edition of his NSL Profile was published on SKYLEAGUE.COM.
