The AAA Class field alone had even more to offer in the middle of the leaderboard. Pro Team and HF Flying Circus were separated by only two points for the AAA top spot. However, another 2-point thriller also took place between the Skydive University team from Slovakia, who visited the Hurricane Factory in Prague for the January competition, and Blackjack at the Fööni wind tunnel in Helsinki, Finland.
In fact, there was also a 2-point difference between Blackjack and the next Finnish team, Tempo, and all three teams battled for the 6th place. Skydive University Slovakia and Blackjack were even tied after Round 9, and the last round brought the decision to the advantage of the Slovakian team at the Hurricane Factory.
The three teams shared and tied the highscores for the ten rounds almost equally, and each team had the lead at some point in time. However, only the two Finnish teams knew how tight it was between them in Helsinki, as the scores at both locations were not posted simultaneously.

Skydive University Slovakia - Blackjack - Tempo at the World Tunnel League January 2019
The Slovakian team is a regular visitor at the World Tunnel League events at the Hurricane Factory and get plenty of competition practice at the meets.
The January competition was the 15th time for the Slovakian team at a WTL meet in Prague since 2016. After seven meets in the AA Class of 2016 and 2017, they felt ready to attend the first international competition and traveled to Bedford for the World Challenge 2017, where they won with a 20.7 team record average.
Then it was time to move into the AAA Class, and the Slovakian team posted the first scores on the AAA Class leaderboard (16.3) once again at the Hurricane Factory in November 2017.
They attended each of the monthly WTL meets between November 2017 and April 2018 and then went back to Bedford, this time for the AAA Class competition.

April was still not over when the Czech Open Indoor Championship 2018 took place at the Hurricane Factory, and the Slovakian team is probably the only team in history that completed four 10-round meets within one month.
Skydive University Slovakia have not missed a WTL meet this winter season, which began once again in November last year. The January meet brought the confrontation with the Finnish teams, and the previous competition practice and experiences then paid back with the new AAA Class record average of 20.2 at the Czech Open Indoor Championship 2019.
