posted Nov 23rd, 2018 - The NSL News update after the first part of the NSL Ultimate 4-way Championship 2018 at iFLY Tampa mentioned that the Czech 4-way teams used the same competition draw for their first meet of the 2018/2019 winter season.

Arizona FM won the AAA Class competition of the NSL Indoor Championship with their complete lineup, after Niklas Hemlin had helped out at the indoor team's last meet in June. Arizona FM's lineup with Airspeed members Mikhail Markine and Ari Perelman was followed by three Czech teams and Slovakia's Skydive University team on the AAA Class leaderboard, tied by the next team from Florida, SCZ ZEUS, who had Airspeed's Niklas Hemlin in the lineup.

The best of the three Czech teams, HF Flying Circus, finished only five points behind Arizona FM with the team's second highest average (21.8) at the first meet of the new indoor winter season. HF Flying Circus had launched the previous winter season at the Hurricane Factory with a 19.2 average in November 2017.

Three of the Czech teams are currently in the Netherlands to attend the ISR Grand Prix 2018, and HF Flying Circus will try to move from the 6th place last year to a medal position.

The HF Cubs are a part of the Czech delegation in Roosendaal, as well, where they are registered for the AA Class competition that they won at last year's event. The HF Cubs recently won the bronze medals at the FAI Indoor World Cup with a 27.3 average after eight rounds, and they will probably not face serious AA Class opposition in Roosendaal.

The only two AA Class teams ahead of HF Cubs in 4-way Junior, Air Devils (30.1) and Aerokart Ak'demie 2 (28.1) are not competing in Roosendaal, and there were no other 4-way senior teams this year who were anywhere close to the junior teams' performance level.

In fact, the young Czech ladies have already entered the AAA Class world at the November meet of the World Tunnel League, and they will probably compete for the last time in the AA Class this weekend. They posted scores for their first ten rounds on a AAA Class leaderboard, and it was a very impressive start with a 20+ average.

The AAA starting point of 20.3 was posted by four of the HF Cubs (Sabina Cioleková, Karolina Henkova, Viktorie Nováková, Adela Vesela) who have usually been rotating slots with their 5-member-lineup.

The rotation is coming to an end, as the oldest team member, Tereza Zívalová, is growing out of the 4-way junior event after turning 18 years of age in January. However, she already has a new slot that she is familiar with.

Tereza Zívalová has joined the HF Chicks several times in the past when the Czech all-female 4-way senior team needed a substitute. She is now becoming a full team member and replaces Klára Eliášová who left the team after her last competition with the HF Chicks at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2018.

The HF Cubs outscored the HF Chicks easily at their first direct competition in the AAA Class, and they could be the Czech national team in 4-way Junior and 4-way Women both at the next FAI indoor world meet next year. Tereza Zívalová could even come back with the HF Cubs for the 4-way Women competition.

HF Flying Circus is probably the next target for the 4-way Junior team, and the current Czech national indoor and outdoor team in 4-way Open have two more female 4-way competitors in the lineup, Dagmar Bezdková and Martina Vavackova.

This means that the three best Czech 4-way teams behind Arizona FM included 10 female and two male 4-way competitors...
