Did You Know...

... that 4-way junior teams are a strong part of the Czech indoor 4-way community?

HF Junior Flies with Jan Klapka
posted Apr 27th, 2017 - Four of the Czech 4-way teams did not only go back into World Tunnel League action three days after coming back from the World Challenge 2017, as the Sun Path Products NSL News reported on 15 April 2017.

The same four teams were also back in the Hurricane Factory to take on the April sequences of the Indoor Cloud League, together with six other Czech teams who tried to get on this month's ICL leaderboard.

Four of the ten teams combined for the ICL total of 112 points for April, which puts the Hurricane Factory in 2nd place at the moment. Bad Boys and HF Chicks were able to outscore the AAA and AA teams at Paraclete XP, and the HF Junior Flies claimed another highscore for the RRR sequence. However, the Rookie Class lineups at Paraclete eventually secured the 7-point lead and the top of the 14+ leaderboard, as the April competition is nearing the end with only a few more days to go.

It has become increasingly difficult for the Czech Indoor Cloud League team to collect points in the Rookie Class categories for a good reason.

Jan Klapka's team training project in the Czech Republic has been very successful, and his new and young teams don't spend much time in the beginner categories.

The Indoor Cloud League rules require ICL teams and competitors to move up into the next category after scoring 25+ twice.

The great support with coaching and management results in continuity and consistency of the teams and lineups, and the progress comes quickly in the Rookie Class categories with consistent indoor training.

This progress has created competitive Czech 4-way teams, while it also moves the beginners to the next categories quickly.

Only two 4-way Junior teams (Blue and Green) are left for Jan Klapka to score monthly for the two easiest Rookie Class sequences.

It will probably not take too long until HF Junior Blue will also outgrow the R Class and the RR Class. The youngest of all teams at the World Challenge in Bedford competed in the Rookie Class with well-trained senior teams and finished in 8th place of 11 teams.

Two other 4-way junior teams ended up behind HF Junior Blue, the Recruitz from Bodyflight Bedford.

World Challenge host Paul Mayer believes that the 4-way juniors should have their own event, and he is planning to take action on it already this year. The Sun Path Products NSL News will follow up soon with more information.
