Did You Know...

... that Round 4 had an identical impact on two 4-way Women battles?

Viewing of the live judging at the outdoor screens
posted Sep 13th, 2016 - The Sun Path Products NSL News mentioned the battles for gold and bronze on the 4-way Women leaderboard a few times at previous updates from the Mondial 2016.

It is no surprise at all that Golden Knights and French Girls are as close to each other as it was after the first three rounds. It is also not a great surprise that NFTO and Parachute Montreal Fuzion have their own battle for the bronze medals right behind the two top contenders in both 4-way events.

Round 4 was a very interesting part of both battles, and the Sun Path Products NSL News happened to be in the public viewing area when the live judging took place. Only the two large high-quality screens in the outdoor arena for spectators and participants are showing the live judging, and Round 4 in 4-way Women was playing during the short visit.

4-point lead after Round 4: NFTO
One team was present at the same time watching the live judging of their own Round 4. NFTO won three points over the Canadian team after two penalties for Fuzion and extended the previous 1-point lead to a 4-point advantage.

Microclim8 member Dennis Parker was watching the NFTO performance, together with his wife Vana and her team. Fuzion was judged before, and Dennis Parker commented the NFTO performance live for the Sun Path Products NSL News. Vana and Dennis Parker used to train and compete together with Voodoo before Vana joined the British national team in 4-way Women. Dennis Parker then joined Microclim8 for a change in 8-way.

Round 4 had exactly the same impact on the battle between Golden Knights and French Girls. The U.S. team lost two points in the judging room and allowed the French Girls to close the previous 3-point gap. It's back to a tie on the top of the leaderboard.
