Did You Know...

... that Dennis Praet still has Round 10 of the Mondial 2012 in his mind?

Lunch break with NMP-PCH Hayabusa
posted Apr 6th, 2013 - The NSL News followed NMP-PCH Hayabusa to the team room after Round 8. It was lunch time, and the leader had a few minutes to share some thoughts with the NSL News and coach Gary Smith who joined the conversation.

Main topic was the Hayabusa scoresheet, which has been looking cleaner than ever at the World Challenge 2013 - at least until Round 7. There was only one single mark by the judges in Round 1.

It was bad timing since a few more marks brought down the score of Round 8. However, Evolution had to deal with the same damage, and nothing changed between the two top teams. Hayabusa has still the highscores for each of the eight rounds. The Belgians have been working on cleaning up their performance. Dennis Praet said that he still has not really digested the missed grip in the last second of Round 10 at the Mondial Dubai 2012. He had it in his mind when Block 2 came up in Round 6 this morning.

Round 8
Back in their own league: Aerokart Deep Blue
The battle for the 10th place between Qatar Tigers, Dubai Asaar Black and a.team4way has become even closer. Craig Girard's team won Round 8 by one point, and the Tigers have one point left of their 6-point lead after Round 1. Nothing changed between a.team4way and Tigers, and Dubai Asaar Black surely has a great momentum going into last two rounds.

Aerokart Deep Blue extended the lead in the female category to ten points and are now performing in their own league. The 22-pointer in Round 8 would tie the 5th best score in the Open Class, and the French team would be in 9th place.

The last two rounds are first a fast one followed by a 3-block sequence. Hayabusa is standing at a 30.6 average at the moment, which would be a new highscore for the World Challenge 2013.
